Absolutely recommended

A well-maintained ****hotel directly on the Ems River. We had a double room with a beautiful modern bathroom, a breakfast buffet with everything the heart desires. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. Whether for a conference, wedding, or vacation, one is completely satisfied here.
A great wellness area with 4 saunas, which we used daily, as well as a small gym. Bathrobes and all towels are included in the price; even shower gel and shampoo are provided on-site, so one really does not need to bring anything.
E-bikes/Biobikes can be rented directly from the hotel.
The hotel is located right in the town center. Just a few steps to the pedestrian zone with numerous restaurants, shops, and lovingly restored houses from the 17th century. The hotel also has a restaurant where one can have an excellent dinner.
Payment for the entire stay is only due upon departure.
We felt very, very comfortable.
Anytime again. Relaxing vacation in a beautiful, quiet environment.

Great Experience

My wife and I stayed at the Lind in late April 2026. We booked a Comfort Double Room with the breakfast option. This is our second stay here and though we enjoyed our first visit this time was even better. Our room overlooked the Ems and it's old water wheel. At booking we asked for gluten free bread options for breakfast and they were able to accommodate us. The restaurant was even able to provide a gluten free snitzel even though it was not on the menu as an option. The staff was friendly and spoke English well enough that we didn't have to embarrass ourselves speaking German. The room itself was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. We'll be back.

Nice hotel with nice staff. Plenty of parking. The food was good and tasteful, even if we prefer to eat menu Overall recommended

I only went there for a night in transit. A bit more crowded than I thought, due to the hotel being a company getaway location. I guess that's fine, but not as quiet as I thought.
