The room is a good sized room for 2 people with a couple large suite case to not feel crowded. Very quiet location. The Westfalen Hof serves a very good breakfast in a nice environment. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed while we were there.

Well, not for me again.

The building has aged, and unfortunately, you can see that both from the outside and inside. The service is attentive. The room is occasionally cleaned and appears rather shabby. There are dead insects all over the walls.
The kitchen has been closed for weeks, so one must look for something outside, which is not easy in this area.
The bed and mattress were okay.

Absolutely not recommended

I came in there, ordered a beer.
I didn’t even drink half of this and was thrown out without a second thought.
*ZERO* star rating!
Purely arbitrary treatment.
If you belong to the darts club probably everything is fine, otherwise you are not welcome there!

We stayed here for the first time and will definitely stay again. We have family throughout the area, and this well-situated hotel made it easy for us to regularly gather for meals and outings. The staff went beyond themselves to make our stay beyond comfortable and enjoyable: German hospitality at its very finest! Chef Rudy is incredible and very deserving of his Michelin Star!! The menu and wine list he has created is regionally sourced and multi-diet-friendly. If you can’t find exactly what you want he will create it for you. We were sad to leave and will look forward to staying there again.
