Lost and found.

This hotel is found on one of the most breathtaking forests I've been to. The place, Bad Tabarz, is so wild; there were Squirrels everywhere.
The staff saved my day. I only wanted to visit my grandmother at the Rehabilitation Center on her birthday and needed a place to stay over night.
We celebrated and had too much fun. I couldn't leave her until it was too late that it was already dark outside.
I was lost in the forest and I couldn't find my way. The waiter found me and he brought me to the hotel. I only needed a single bed but got a double bed instead upgraded by the nicest receptionists in the place.
I was exhausted and believe me when I tell you that their sauna took all the stress away.
The swimming pool is a highlight and night swimming alone was the epitome of greatness. I couldn't stop ordering their coffee with icecream that I'm thinking I got addicted to it already.
A big compliment to the waiter whose passion is to help others; he started my day by touching me with his smile!
Thankyou so much for the night! 10/10 will recommend and even come back with my friends for my birthday!

the hotel is really not recommended

never again!
here is advertised with what is never and never true!!!
absolutely no 4 star hotel maybe 1 star
we have been here since Sunday and to this day the rooms would not be cleaned yet!
Shower with mold!
I asked and it is not a 4 star hotel anymore!!!!!!??

Never again

Caution! The reviews published here are all from the time BEFORE the hotel was sold to the Wagner Group. A lot has changed since then, but not for the better. No menu, restaurant opening times that are unfriendly to customers, no service on the terrace, overpriced half-board menu (buffet only)...

Perfect couple spa weekend

I went there this may for my 3 year anniversary with boyfriend, I had a wonderful time. We booked in advance our treatments, and chose the breakfast option, not the half pension. The breakfast was good and had a great variety of options. The spa treatments were ok, provided by a single massage therapist that was just exhausted at the end but managed a great job! We also went hiking to the nearby hills and had a great time relaxing at the pool afterwards. Would recommend.

A marvel in a small town

This is a quaint rather old hotel, but the rooms with a view are wonderful, the front desk and service people in hotel and restaurant are not only polite and friendly but competent. The beds are comfortable, breakfast buffet is amazing and the food in the restaurant deserves at least one Michelin star. I will be back soon.
