Great little guesthouse.

Small guesthouse in a half-timbered house. Lovingly furnished themed room with a small kitchen and a beautiful bathroom featuring a rain shower. Parking in a secured courtyard with a storage room and charging option for the e-bike. Good breakfast; there was a refrigerator in the stairwell with various drinks (to be settled in the morning). In just a few steps, you reach the market and in 10 minutes, you are at the cathedral. Absolutely recommendable.

The best place to stay in Naumburg

Excellent location, testful yet restrained decor with each room having a special theme (i stay in organ room), helpful and efficient owner who speaks very good English. Good breakfast.
Simply, look no further!
A little bit difficult to find at first; just walk behind the Rathous and ask local people if needed.

Wonderful little place

Stayed here on our way to Croatia.
Nice place, fresh, clean.
Beds are comfortable.
Can really recommend this place.
We are a family of four.
The city is a wonderful place, i wish we had more time to explore.

A beautiful little place

We toured all around Germany and this was our favourite place to stay. It's a beautifully designed and finished 'pension' with the feeling of a boutique hotel. Our room was large and comfortable and amazing value for money - it was the cheapest and the largest room of any that we stayed in. Everything was so clean and well considered. The chap who runs the place is very pleasant and attentive. The little breakfast room was lovely and the breakfast selection perfect. It's perfectly located to explore the pretty streets of Naumburg.

Go back in time and be PAMPERED in old mediaeval Naumburg (Saale) Germany

If you want to explore mediaeval Germany why not take an ICE train from Berlin's Hauptbahnhof train station to Wittenberg for a few hours where Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses, and then continue on to Naumburg (Saale), Germany for an overnight pampered stay in a remarkable Pension. Don't let the name "pension" fool you. Pension Typisch is set in a 400 year old house that was renovated around 2010 with all the modern conveniences you can think of-- heated bathroom floor, motion-sensor lights in the kitchenette, WiFi, and too many more things to mention. It is only 1-2 minutes from the historic town square and about 5 minutes from Naumburg Cathedral, one of the most remarkable Romanesque / Gothic Cathedrals in Germany. You will find a candy on your pillow when you arrive. The room I had was the ground floor room, which I loved. Continental breakfast consists of a wonderful selection of food-- fresh bakery bread, a boiled egg if you ask for one, yogurt, cheese, summer sausage, bananas, cereals, and much more to choose from. If the weather is nice, you can sit in the small private courtyard garden for breakfast. Bottom line: you will feel pampered and glad you selected Pension Typisch in Naumburg for a special treat on your travels to Germany! One note: there are 2 Naumburgs in Germany. This Naumburg is located in Saxony-Anhalt, about a 3 to 4 hour train ride SW of Berlin. The train likes to make a "backwards" side tour to Leipzig, so don't be surprised!
