Typical train station hotel.

Budget hotel on the way from the train station to downtown. Simple and somewhat outdated. The hotel is currently being renovated. The check-in is handled through the Hotel Conti, three buildings down. Breakfast is also available there. There is a storage option for bicycles. It was pleasantly quiet until a drug addict started screaming on the street at night.

Terrible

We didn't sleep a wink. opposite in the street were about 40 Moroccans, Turks, I don't know, with large sound blasters playing Turkish/Moroccan music (call it cat whining) the decibels flew through double glazing and shutters, as if we were sleeping in the middle of an Islamic discotheque. At night the police were called several times with sirens (argument), then it was quiet for 5 minutes, as soon as they left the street the misery started again until 5.15 am when the city cleaning arrived. When asking whether this was normal in this area, the answer turned out to be yes, unfortunately, so you cannot speak of a quiet environment, far from it. Upon arrival we were told that there was no breakfast because there were other guests eating in the barracks. As if we are not guests and do not pay. Wifi was not communicated to us upon arrival. We again had to go up and down 6 flights of stairs to ask for that. There was no one to check out in the morning, so we couldn't complain. We just had to throw the key in the mailbox. (really speaking literally).

Very big room and lovely breakfast!

Very big room, also very spacious.
Nice shower.
2’ walk from the station and a very short 10’ walk from the center.
5’walk from a private parking garage nearby: 10€ for 24hrs.
Plenty of eateries to choose amongst walking distance.
Hotel breakfast was really really nice, lots to choose from, fresh bread buns, and even baby bels cheese! Breakfast room really nice also: many thanks!
Hotel staff is also very very kind and accommodating.
On the down side our window was literally facing the shopping street, and even tho closed to traffic, very very noisy at night if you want to sleep with the window open and the hotel is a little bit on the pricy side but on their defence I booked a week before going.
Overall would definitively go back maybe booking a bit earlier.

At home feeling

Very nice little hotel! Perfect location close to the station. Large room with comfortable beds. Super Clean everywhere. Fresh flowers on the breakfast table and White cloths. Everything is very pedantic. Excellent breakfast.
Staff made you feel like at home, very nice and warm!

Enjoyable stay

Basic comfortable hotel with convenient central location. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and abundant. I had booked a single room, but was given a spacious corner room. Tiny bathroom with only a shower, but perfectly clean and serviceable. The bed was firm, very comfortable. Wifi worked fine. I stayed for 3 nights and was very pleased with the overall experience. To access the reception, one has to go up a lot of stairs which was ok for me, but people who are less fit need to know this.
As some other travellers have noted, there is street noise in the evening, an issue for light sleepers. Monday/Tuesday were fine, but Wednesday the noise was bothersome. The staff told me that one can ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
