Narrow beds.

We attended a wedding celebration at Haus Delecke. Unfortunately, the beds in the annex building are only 140 cm wide, too narrow for a restful sleep for two people, and the rooms there are quite small. Unfortunately, there was also no room service provided. Otherwise, cleanliness is very good, the staff is mostly very friendly and helpful, and the location by the lake is wonderful.
Some family members have complained about the noise insulation. The breakfast was excellent, everything one could wish for was there.

Mostly not a 4-star feeling, but good food!

Ageing, feels more like 3-star hotel. Cobwebs in some places in the room. Elevator (currently) only usable for 3 people, although actually designed for 6 people - this does not lead to a sense of security.
We wanted to eat coffee and cake at 4:10 p.m. - but we were not allowed to do that in the restaurant area, as this was intended for A-La-Carte, so we were left with only large armchairs in the corridor area near the reception - and this even though the hotel displays its cake nicely. And then there were too many cups of coffee and once instead of an ordered milk coffee a cocoa and then on the bill was a cappuccino - you have to manage that first! When paying, it was said that it would only be possible with a card if he re-entered all this, since he had already entered cash payment in the system - although no previous request was made for payment method.
The room was missing stirring sticks on the first day, which were then available after cleaning the room with coffee and tea. One of the windows showed a child's handprint.
At breakfast we sat down at the only table of 4 (we were 4) in the room and had already put plates and drinks on it when we were told that this table (it was breakfast time) was set for a-la-carte and we had to move (!) to a new table put together for us from two tables - and something like that in a 4-star hotel!
In the evening at the restaurant we asked for the drinks list but only received one wine list, on request we were told the other was to be fetched but never came. Apparently, you also sell non-alcoholic drinks that are not on any menu. Doesn't feel like a 4-star hotel either.
The food was really good and it was even given out for birthday free sparkling wine (also alcohol-free). That felt more like 4 stars again and was very happy.
The location of the hotel is very good, but if you didn't arrive by car, but by train & taxi (public transport doesn't really run there), you need to know that you won't find anything to shop for, but there are several restaurants nearby next to the one in the hotel.

Good value hotel in pleasant location.

A clean and efficient hotel, reasonably priced, in a pleasant and quiet location overlooking the Möhnesee lake, a short distance out of the village; staff were helpful and efficient.

A nice hotel in a lovely setting

Lovely setting and great to have free parking. Room was perfect for our needs and lovely and clean. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice and food was tasty. Staff were generally welcoming and great. Unfortunately, let down by receptionist when we arrived early evening - she was not at all friendly and quite dismissive. A real shame when this is the first point of contact a guest has with the hotel. The receptionist on check out was altogether different - extremely professional and friendly.
