Nice hotel

Although we arrived very late and had to call to see if we could still check in, the reception was very friendly and they even waited for us. The rooms are beautiful, functional and clean. What more could you want? The breakfast was plentiful and the service was very friendly. We are definitely completely satisfied and would be happy to come back anytime.

Keep your hands off me!

Checking in was a single disaster, as described by other guests. Contrary to the confirmation in a previously conducted telephone call with the owners that the check-in would be possible on site without any problems according to the time specification, no one opened even after several rings! After we were able to reach someone by phone, we were opened about 15 minutes later and we received our key for the guest house located 80 meters away. The room was clean but lacked toiletries. Only one pack of shampoo was present - no soap, no shower gel. The night was okay. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a disaster; such a bad breakfast has never come our way: All the cheapest convenience - from the rolls, to the topping and the yogurt. The breakfast eggs could not be pelleted because they were probably not expertly prepared by a supposedly unskilled specialist in the catering industry. The crowning glory was the presentation of the Maggi bottle, which is indispensable for Saarland, for eating the eggs (see attached imagery - without words!) Conclusion: "Saarland, you're better than you think!"

Large Room

We stayerd over a weekend in a three bed room, which was large and comfortable. The hotel is very functional and well located.
Breakfast is ok, however some fesh vegetables and fruits would improve it a lot.
The hotel has WiFi, but the quality should be improved. Instaed of supermarket repeaters in each floor, a decent repeater station in the hallway could improve the quality a lot.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
