Well-managed hotel for unwinding in the midst of nature.

We were on a Werra bike tour and received a room on short notice.
One can enjoy a wonderful breakfast on the outdoor terrace with a view of the flowing Werra.

incredible farmer fishing!

When booking, tel. 81,00 €uro as a total price in prospect, but then already confirmed at the confirmation email 84,50 €uro, on request allegedly the bed tax!?
In 30 years of field service overnight stay unique. The evening restaurant completely overpriced, not one affordable from the expenses. The hotel room in the annex, so 150 meters with suitcase and bag through night, cold and rain. In the annex then the room on the 2nd floor. Floor, without elevator, only accessible via narrow stairs and completely incomprehensible, as the hotel was barely occupied and you could have stayed just as well in the main house, or at least parterre. Departure day fortunately first settled and then on the way to the breakfast room learn that an additional €21.00 must be paid for the breakfast buffet, although on the booking voucher
"1x breakfast, incl. = 0,00 €uro" was written. Thanks, but never again!

Great stopover :)

Great hotel for a stopover just off the A7. Delicious food, very friendly staff. Only unfortunately it was crazy warm in the room although it was only 20 degrees outside and cooled down sharply at night to 12 degrees. Aber alles in allem top!

Great approaches but the finishing could be better

They have a great house, but due to the location also very noisy when the trains rush by at night with infinite number of carriages. Unfortunately, your mattresses are a little too old and have lost their fit, so you like to find yourself in the mattress crack several times a night. The headboard of your bed has a cover that rubs off extremely and leaves on the back of a lean-back, strong, flat discoloration and heavily soils the pyjamas. Your TV solution with the limited use of the remote is a really bad solution, especially if you can't set a program with it. Their staff is infinitely friendly, funny, courteous and has the heart sitting in the right place - infinitely great! The breakfast I would have liked a little more varied and original.
