Excellent hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, peaceful room with a variety of thoughtful features such as multi-cord and cordless charging station, self-serve bar and snacks, and even a tiny ledge next to the bed for a glass. add-on breakfast (10 euro) was abundant! the room was airy and minimalist which was very nice to come home to after busy and long days at documenta. would stay again! thank you, sova staff!

Olof was an impeccable host, helping us with every part of our visit to Kassel, way beyond the hotel accommodations, which in themselves were all we could have wanted. The room was simple, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The staff were efficient and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about Sova in Kassel.

Clean, Efficient, Tidy

The bedding was neatly folded on the bed for me, all I needed was to unfold and plop down. The quilt cover was comfy and sufficient to kee the chill off from a rainy day in Kassel during Documenta. My first time in a hotel where the hallway lights have an individual switch outside each room. All it takes is to tap the first switch in the hall when returning from dinner, and the light will go out on a timer. Conversely leaving your room after dark, tap the switch outside your room. The bath was modern, and well updated. The single housemaid I encountered, cheerfully complied for my request for a second pillow. The staff was most accomodating. The only reason I dont give a 5 star rating is that it it's a plain building in a commercial neighborhood, which does not make it any less functional.

Nice

The first impression was bad, because the room of reception has an atmosphere of decadence. The rooms are big and clean. The toilette is bigger! There is easy access to the center of the town by tram.

Fantastic value

We stayed here because it was within easy walking distance of a family we were visiting. This is excellent value for money, simple but with all the mod cons, spotlessly clean and in good working order. Just what we wanted.
