Tranquility in the village

Stayed two nights in this small and cosy, family driven hotel in the middle of a tiny, old village in the hilly landscape of Sieg Valley. Very helpful and welcoming staff. On the second night we got a comfortable and functional room with a tiny terrace facing the street, but no traffic noise during night. Good breakfast buffet provided in the nearby café Die Alte Schule with fabulous panoramic views of the landscape.
Free parking in front of the building. We did not try the dinner restaurant. Many nature hiking trails of different lengths in the area, mostly in lush woods, but a thorough exploring requires more than two days. Blinkenberg is a tranquil base, ideal for exploring Bonn 30 min away and the Rhine area south of the city.

Culinary delights

We had a delicious evening with very good care... great dishes... nice ambience pleasant lighting conditions... comfortable furniture... the menu was very innovative and enough for a 5 course menu... finally there were a few treats from the kitchen

Great weekend!

Excellent service, friendly host, very tasteful decor and a heavenly breakfast!
Hiking trails and restaurants within easy reach, very idyllic and quiet location. We felt very comfortable and will be back soon!
