Wonderful, cozy hotel in the old town of Goslar

Beautifully decorated hotel with a great location! From the first moment we felt very comfortable, the hotel rooms were super nice and lovingly decorated and also the breakfast buffet was fantastic and offered something for every taste.
All in all, we can highly recommend this place and look forward to our next stay! Thanks again to the hosts and the staff!

Beautiful hotel in the Goslar inner city

I spent two wonderful nights here and slept better than I have in a long time. Not only is Goslar a beautiful city, but the hotel has also been renovated and modernized with great love. The whole staff is super friendly and always interested in having a nice stay. An absolute highlight is the in-house Greek restaurant. If I could eat one more thing in my life, it would be the goat cheese balls with honey!

We were welcomed very friendly and warm. The hotel is very special and we are very happy that we chose this accommodation.
Additional points are available for the culinary delights in the restaurant. We had an incredible stay and will definitely come back.:)

Traditional house with a lot of heart and excellent restaurant

Our stay at the Hotel Goldener Stern was wonderful all around. Here you can feel in particular that the house is family-run with a lot of heart and genuine hospitality – and this for several generations. It is precisely this personal, warm atmosphere that makes your stay so special.
You can see in many small details that everything is done here with love and is not just professional, but run with real dedication. This gives the hotel a very special charm.
High praise also to the connected restaurant: absolutely recommended! The food was excellent, prepared with great care, and the service was attentive and warm. For us this was the perfect complement to an all-round successful stay.
We felt very comfortable as a family and would love to come back.

Charming steep historic hotel

Here you get a location within Goslar city wall, so it is easy to explore and experience the city.
Is a family-owned place with Greek roots, where you get welcomed by smiles and good mood and things can be done.
Be prepared for the charm of a 500-year-old building – i.e. sloping floors and ceilings, low doors etc. That’s part of the charm you don’t get at a newly built tourist hotel.
Also recommended is the hotel’s evening restaurant, Platon, if you don’t want to walk around the city.
