Nice large room in spacious hotel in the middle of tranquillity

Cosy furnished room with nice bathroom. Nice breakfast, friendly service. Food in the evening in the beer garden with self-service tasty. The bikes could be safely parked in a spacious room behind the reception.

Nice stay

Biker weekend (3nights) with 12persons (average age +40). Rooms are normal sized, bath rooms a bit noisy (separated by thin wall). Nice indoor swimming pool - sauna not used. Very nice and large garden with a 'bierstube' open till... Low priced drinks. We very much enjoyed the evening dinners with choice between 2main courses. Manager positivly driven, friendly and helpfull staff. Good location for as well motorbike tours, bicycle rides or wanderers.

Zwiespältiger Gesamteindruck

Gutes ***-Haus. Der Service ist wegen (wohl andauerndem) Personalmangel oder auch aus Umweltschutzgründen reduziert, weniger Zimmerservice, Rührei zu Frühstück nur wenn wenige Gäste, das Restaurant dauerhaft und die nicht sehr heimelige Jägerstube sonntags ab 20 Uhr geschlossen - in dem Fall halt Pech für den Hotelgast. Andererseits: Freundliches Personal, gute Küche, sehr gute Burger, wenn am Wochenende Burger angeboten werden. Beste Ausgangslage für Wanderungen. Insgesamt entspricht das Angebot wohl nicht (mehr) ganz dem Preis. Bleibt ein etwas zwiespältiger Gesamteindruck.

Nur SB Biergarten, Restaurant zu

Das Restaurant ist "angeblichwegen Personalmangel" geschlossen. Im netten Biergarten gibt es einiges, Schnitzel etc, Selbstbedienung. Da der Biergarten Montags und Dienstags geschlossen hat und in Eppenbrunn sonst auch nichts "Vernünftiges" gibt, ist es schon schwierig.
