The hotel was quiet and spotlessly clean. The staff were all super friendly.
The young blonde lady (whose name I shamefully can’t remember) spoke fluent English, which helped tremendously, as my German is sadly very poor 😬.
There were a few other members of staff who also kindly spoke a little English, of which I very much appreciated.
My only real gripe was the pillows could be better.. also tea & coffee making facilities in the room would’ve been a nice thing to have.
Food was excellent in the restaurant.
Breakfast was mostly continental, which was reasonably good, although a cooked English breakfast or equivalent would be a fabulous welcome alternative.
Otherwise my stay over 3.5 weeks was very good.
The town is a lovely friendly place to visit, with lots of history, good selection of local shops, and literally just a 2 minute walk from the hotel is a Domino’s pizza, this was nice to have as naughty treat.!
There’s also what appeared to be a nice Italian restaurant just another 2 minutes from Dominos, unfortunately I didn’t get to try it out..
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Eisleben.

An ageing hotel with friendliness

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is great. The hotel also has a certain charm, but I am not at all satisfied with the general maintenance of the hotel, in terms of the room rate of 140,-€ per night. That just doesn't fit if you don't like to look in any corner in your room for the price.
Lovely hotel does something. I felt uncomfortable in my room.
I've come through to two stars.

3 nights for work are enough and advance!!

Nice hotel maybe the only one in the town! Rooms furnished minimally but well cared for apart there carpet!! Large bathroom well heated and with shower tray! Overall I found myself comfortable in the room although the creaking of the wooden floor was very annoying! Breakfast not great with very little choice! If passing I recommend it! Great price!

Classic Hotel - recommended

Fantastic and classic hotel in the middle of the city with high ceiling. Good restaurant and nice rooms! and good breakfast. Very friendly service. We got room 112 on the 1st floor - this room can be recommended as it is large and nice with a good bathroom.
The city is also nice to walk around.

Historic village

the hotel is a historic royal residence with large fully modernised rooms (with en-suite bathrooms).
The hotel is in a quiet zone in the middle of the historic village. Parking for hotel guests is possible in the hotel own backyard. All tourist attractions ( Luther’s birthplace and dying house and churches) are in walking distance. Restaurants in Eisleben are busy on weekends and it is advisable to reserve a table in a restaurant particularly in the hotel.
