Very nice hotel

The operators are very friendly. The hotel has modern rooms that are clean. The bathrooms were large, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast was great and diverse.
That was certainly not our last time there.

Perfect stay in Cuxhaven

The location is good, across the road from the beach and the visitor centre. Friendly reception. The room was recently renovated and comfortable to sleep in. It was enough for me travelling solo. They offer tea coffee amenities in the room with a kettle. They have an excellent breakfast, I loved their fresh bakery items and there was enough for my vegetarian needs. They also had a lot of meat options but I didn’t partake of those. They give a printout of the day’s options in Cuxhaven on the table which I felt was very thoughtful. I was there for one night and leaving after breakfast so couldn’t make much use of their daily planner. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Cuxhaven again.

A hotel like it used to be - in the best sense

The room was practically furnished and very, very clean, as was the bathroom. If you wish, you can borrow flip-flops and bathrobes for free if you want to use the nearby Ahoi Bad. In the comfort rooms, there is even a free voucher for the bathroom. I am very sensitive to noise, but I didn't find it overly noisy and slept like a log.
The breakfast was very varied, I personally missed fresh fruit. But there was a large selection of teas, and you can also have a latte macchiato on request, for example. All the staff I met were really warm and friendly. I found it particularly sweet that the older guests really got an all-round carefree service with a greeting by name, a little chat, etc.
The hotel itself is typical Cuxhaven-Duhnen, everything exudes the charm of the old Federal Republic, which I really liked. Since I had recently stayed at the BB Hotel Cuxhaven, I would definitely choose the Hotel Seeschwalbe in direct comparison at any time.
