Lovely Family-Run Hotel near the Altstadt

I stayed here for three nights in April and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and functional and the location was very convenient. The hotel itself is set far back from the main road on a tranquil lane, so the rooms are very quiet. I was able to walk to the Altstadt area in just over five minutes and it was about a 15 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof.
For such a small hotel, the breakfast was very adequate. There was a nice selection of breads, meats, cheeses, and other items. I also enjoyed a made-to-order egg every morning!
I found the couple running the hotel to be very friendly and helpful. Since I didn't want to drag my luggage all the way to the station and wasn't sure I could get there on time with a bus transfer, I asked the woman at the front desk to schedule a taxi for me. The taxi came on time and picked me up right at the front door. It was great service and I had no issue making my train.

cozy and nice hotel

Small, nice hotel within walking distance to the old town. Friendly welcome and a nice, clean room. The bed is very cozy. In the room there is a TV and I had a balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast is also available

Cozy, quiet and well located hotel.

Nois made a stopover at Celle depuus Denmark to southern Germany and did not regret the choice of this very friendly hotel, well located in front of a peaceful square and with a great breakfast. We slept very well there.

Nice stay in quiet environment

Celle and Hotel St.Georg are really a small visit, worth spending as a stop on longer trips south. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet setting just over 1 km from Celle Altstadt. Nice with free parking at “Am alten Apothekergarten” 50 meters from the hotel. Really good breakfast, very sweet host couple.

Affordable and good family hotel

A very nice and cozy family hotel centrally located in Celle. Took only 8 minutes to walk down to Altstadt with all shops. Clean and good room which was very quiet because it did not pass any traffic on the street. A simple but tasty breakfast. Very hospitable host couple
