Hotel of contrasts
On arrival we had to find the bell to ring to gain entry. The owner seemed to be surprised to have guests arriving despite having booked some months in advance. The advertised restaurant and bar were both closed and it was suggested that we might like to eat in the village... Not a suggestion that was greatly appreciated having been driving for the previous 14 hours.

Schöne Anlage - Gastlichkeit ausbaufähig
Positiv: für Kinder weitläufiges liebevoll gestaltetes Areal mit vielen Tieren, Voliere, Ponies, Aussensauna, gr. Zeltplatz. Schöne Fachwerk DG-Whg. mit saniertem Bad, gute Matratzen, Frühstücksbuffet ok für günstigen Aufpreis, Kaffee ungenießbar.
Gastlichkeit ausbaufähig: eher überrascht, dass wir ankamen (hatten reserviert), auch erst nach mehrmaligem Läuten, morgens begrüßt einen niemand im Frühstücksraum, kein WLAN-Code trotz Nachfrage, Föhn und Haken gibts im neuen Bad sicher auch bald, Aussensauna kostet extra, sogar pro Person - dafür keine Saunatücher, Bademäntel…, Gästebuch mit Ausflugszielen wäre schön, starker Rauchergeruch hängt im App., hellhörig, übervolle Aschenbecher überall und das kl. in die Jahre gekommene Gärtchen könnte gepflegter sein.
Also insgesamt eine schön-konzipierte, große Anlage, besonders für Kinder oder kurzen Zwischenstopp, aber für einen Familienbetrieb fehlt einfach die familiäre Gastlichkeit zum Wohlfühlen.
