Very cozy, reasonably priced guesthouse.
For us, it was a pleasant stay. It is a guesthouse and not a luxury hotel; if someone wants a luxury hotel, they should book a luxury hotel.
We were warmly welcomed and were immediately asked about a desired breakfast that we happily added. We were even allowed to make requests, but since we are not demanding, we simply let ourselves be surprised and were not disappointed. The room was clean, and the price-performance ratio was perfect.
We thank you for the cozy stay and will come again.

Disaster
The rooms are simply furnished, which is basically not a bad thing. But...
In the corners it's dirty, the bathroom disgusting. Likewise the kitchen utensils and the dishes. Everything's sticking. The temperature of 16 degrees in the room I can confirm, just like the problem with the TV. There's no breakfast. Too annoying to get up so early for a few guests. “Not worth it.” Many guests are workers of hiking construction sites. There is a lot of alcohol drunk in the evening and it is also very loud until late at night. In addition, there was a decent infestation of ants in the room. They crawled to bed at night. No big problem for the owner, “they’re gone in the morning”. In the evening it suddenly peeked out of the shower. Peaked in faeces coming up, the toilet overflowing and everything pouring down to the kitchen. The owner was immediately informed and called a “buddy”. Together, the shower was plucked apart in the late afternoon without expertise. The whole lower floor had the same problem. A main line outside was probably jammed, as I could see from the conversation between the two. No one in the house could shower or use the toilet anymore, it was told. After wildly rummaging through the bathroom, the two self-proclaimed plumbers were suddenly gone. The water gradually seeped away and the fecal residue in the shower and on the floor slowly dried up. It smelled beastly in the whole room. No one was seen anymore. After about an hour I called the owner because he was nowhere else to be found. Yeah, well. In the background, it sounded like a funny evening at the pub on the phone. When asked what happened to the shower and the fecal remains: “Yes today nothing more, we have cleaned everything up.” I attach the pictures of “clean”.
The next day I moved to the Hotel Toscana for the last night. It was clean, warm and the people there were very friendly.
When I moved out of the pension, I was followed by the owner at every turn in the room, saying: “I’d rather stay here, otherwise you’ll take something else that’s not yours!” I had no choice but to take something from this dirt booth. He kept cursing me and accusing me of causing all this after all. I would have stuffed something into the toilet on purpose, I'm sure. Good thing that my own cleaning lady had already told me completely annoyed that the problem already existed with the guest before. But anything but taking care of the guest and house is probably preferable to the owner. Dear people, NEVER AGAIN!

Great stay, price/performance absolutely consistent and surpassed
For a family request we booked the pension 2 nights.
The owner is very friendly and accommodating.
The heating can be regulated manually and is regulated to 16°C for "vacancy".
The TV (satellite) works, 2 large and soft shower towels were ready.
If the kitchen is left dirty, cleaning costs will be charged. Absolutely fine.
We found a clean room with clean kitchen and clean bathroom. Breakfast we didn't book, but would certainly have gotten a coffee spontaneously.

We will never book again
We had booked the pension from 23-24.11.2024 because according to the description there is breakfast on site. In advance I asked 3 times about breakfast, but the pension never gave a reply. On Saturday on arrival we were informed that there is no breakfast in the pension on Sunday. If you had already communicated this in the first request I would have cancelled immediately for free, is already very sneaky.
Upon arrival at 3 pm, the thermostats in the room were set to 16 degrees Celsius, manual regulation is not possible.
In the evening then the next shock, a TV is available, but no channels were received. Then we tried the free Wi-Fi guest access, but it didn't work either.
So this accommodation never again, contrary to the website was a complete wash.

Sehr freundlich und um den Preis ok
Wir waren sehr zufrieden, guter Ausgangspunkt nach Leipzig und Sächsische Schweiz. Natürlich kein Luxus, aber Preis-Leistung sehr ok. Besitzer ist Musiklehrer, hat uns sogar was vorgespielt. Frühstück reichhaltig und gut.
