Privat geführtes Hotel

Zum erneuten Male auf Borkum und immer wieder im Haus Rummeni. Ein tolles rustikales geführtes Hotel, mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Der Eigentümer und Besitzer begrüßt einen als erster und ist immer für einen Schnack zu haben.
Kleiner Tipp: Aus dem Hotel raus geradeaus in die Fußgängerzone ^^Fischbutze^^ ein MUSS für Fischliebhaber.

Outdated hotel currently being renovated.

The room we had was spacious, but neglected. There were no curtains, only a translucent roller blind and a net curtain. The hotel rooms around us were being renovated, which is very good considering the room we had. We did not know this when booking, which is not as it should be. The breakfast is excellent, although it was not possible to take my diet into account. The staff and host are friendly. At the moment, the hotel makes a messy impression and renovation is not an unnecessary luxury. If we had known this in advance, we would have chosen a different hotel. It didn't help that there were also road workers working in front of the door. But that is separate from the condition of the hotel.

Great location, service and breakfast

The hotel is ideally located if you arrive on Borkum by catamaran or ferry (it is adjacent to the shuttle railway station), a short walk from the beach and surrounded by the cafes, restaurants and bars of Borkum itself. If you have a taste for privately owned hotels with rather eccentric decor, this place will appeal. There’s a huge mural of the lighthouse on the first floor and the door to our room was in the middle of it. The room itself was spotless and spacious with a balcony overlooking the central square. It could have been improved by better quality toiletries as there was only a small bar of soap and two sachets of shower gel. Breakfast was very good indeed, with a wide range of hot and cold dishes. The manager speaks excellent English and is extremely helpful.

Great stay

Had a great time on Borkum and hotel was great. Centrally located, clean and great German style breakfast to get me going for the day! Would stay there again or recommend it. Location is great and although in town centre quite at night.

Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Die Zimmer strahlen zwar den Charme der 70er-Jahre aus, aber das macht die Familie Rummeni und ihr engagiertes Team locker wieder wett. Immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Frühstück war jeden Tag Sonntagsfrühstück :) die Lage ist ideal - sowohl zum shoppen, als auch für Strandspaziergänge.
