Lovely, cozy spot

Very lovely stay. The hotel staff is very helpful and hard working. We had wonderful local wine at the cozy hotel bar and a tasty breakfast with meats, cheese, breads, eggs, yogurt. Really lovely stay! Thank you!

Ohm Patt would need a renovation

I chose the hotel for one night because of excellent recommendations but I was disappointed with the experience. The hotel was worn and stale, the single room unpleasant. The toilet was repaired unprofessionally and made a special noise. The owner of the hotel was nice, but compared to the previous night in another hotel, this place was a big disappointment and overpriced.

The Restaurant is Worth a Visit

A really friendly place to have a very nice tasting meal.. we really enjoyed it.
The Portuguese owner is a bit of a comic .. likes a laugh with the customers.
I can definitely recommend the Ohm Patt restaurant.. (I have no idea about the hotel accommodation)
Not the fastest service.. but who cares, you're on vacation.

Lovely family-run place

We loved this hotel. We stayed in a room for three with our daughter and the room was large and beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the location is top, and the breakfast was great, too. This is perfect for people who want to support local business and not throw their money to the corporate giants.

Awful, unpleasant, and tired room

I`ve read several glowing reviews on TA so this may come as a shock but this hotel is awful, the worst place we stayed in our 2 week trip across Germany.
Boppard is a strange place, we tried to order a meal at a local restaurant at 8-15 and were told they had stopped serving... What...?
Ohm Patt,Where to start? The shower/bathroom is shoulder width wide and I`m not Arnold Swarzanegger, its so small the sink is in the bedroom..!! And the toilet is at such an angle its hard to sit on.And polystyrene ceiling tiles..? Didnt they go out with the ice age, and dont they give off cyanide gas when they burn and everywhere seems to be sealed with masses of silicon sealant.
The four poster bed may seem romantic but try sitting on it without stopping the blood flow to your legs due to the raised side edges, which also means you hit your legs on it whilst trying to sleep which is impossible due to the tiny fan which provides little or no relief from the hot room . We couldnt get a peep out of the TV and thats not for lack of trying. Wood chip abounds, pipes coming through a hole in the ceiling just adds to the torment.
Breakfast was good, central location and the lady owner was cheerful, and I understand the Germans pre occupation with wood but, my, avoid this place
Oh, yeah, 131 euros was waaaaaaay too much, or was that increased because there was an event on in town??
