A WE for two

We were already the 2nd time at the Aleo in Bochum. The first time I had to visit an acquaintance dressed as Santa Claus and now 1 day ago. The Aleo is for Us one of the most beautiful we have ever booked rooms very nicely decorated, with TV, very nice bathroom and Wi-Fi, and breakfast like in a 5 star hotel. We can recommend this place 100% and will definitely come back. Greetings Dörte u Ingo

Good plan !

Hotel 15 minutes walk from the city center and 5 minutes from the German Mining Museum. Quiet and clean. Good size room and properly equipped. Good breakfast. Welcoming, friendly, available and good advice staff. Very good value for money.

Decent hotel, value for money

This is a nice hotel, with little pretension. A good place for one or two nights, also because of its central location. The price-quality balance is OK, at €69 per night. The room is OK and spacious, and beds are fine. The bathroom is, however, rather small: you feel you need to enter the shower sideways.

Perfect basic accomdations close to everything you need.

This hotel consists of Hostel rooms and a Hotel rooms. We stayed in the Hotel room.
We stayed here for three nights in Sept at the beginning of our vacation. The location is perfect if you are willing to walk everywhere. Close to shopping, restaurants and within walking distance to the train station. If you have a car, parking seemed to be street parking.
The rooms where very clean but basic. We had a Queen bed which I found to be a little uncomfortable but my husband found it to be ok. The bathroom consisted of a sink, toilet and shower (no tub) and was small but efficient. The room had free Wi-fi which worked well and a TV.
We didn't see the hotel staff much, but what we did of them, they where friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for a simple, clean and cost effective place to stay this is the place for you.

Clean rooms, nice people, good prices

I have stayed at Hotel Aleppo several times over the past five years. Their rooms are consistently spotless, their personnel is very friendly, and their prices are competitive. This hotel is located directly across the street from the TFH Georg Agricola, a 5-minute walk from the Deutsche Bergbaumuseum, less than 50 meters from a U35 subway stop, and a 10-minute walk from Bochum's city center.
