Excellent service

the hotel staff very friendly and polite
everything was clean
comfortable and especially very serca cathedral.
have excellent service
only they don't have childcare as mentioned on this page
I don't know if there's a bar inside the hotel
as mentioned on the page
is a good choice for staying.

What I was looking for

I spent three night there. The rooms were small, but clean, and in the location I wanted. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
My needs were a bed, and a shower. Although the bed was upstairs from the balance of the room, is was comfortable.
The bathroom was very small, but the shower stall was really nice.
Best part for me was 3 nights for $105 USD.
One small thing, the morning coffee was Nescafe. I do not recommend it, but up one block and turn left and there was a very nice coffee shop with excellent coffee.
I would stay there again.

Not as advertised

First off have to say I loved the staff, they went above and beyond. Unfortunately the room was not as booked and was uncomfortable in many respects. I booked a room for two adults with two beds and a kitchen. The hotel advertises that the property has a shared kitchen and rooms have kitchenettes. I arrived to an open loft bedroom, with one bed, not kitchen, no shared kitchen, a microwave in the hall. No fridges.. Oh wait, the first night they shuffled me off to a hotel down the block as they over booked. It was cold small, no blind to block the court yard lights and you could hear cannons going off and shaking the building every hour. Back to the Refugio, the property would not address the shortfalls with Expedia and Expedia was no help at all. Generally feel ripped off. Am disappointed with the owners of this property.

Ok

Our room was a loft style room with kitchenette. The kitchenette was basically a sink. No cutlery, no kettle or hot plate, no fridge, no nothing. If you wanted to use it for anything you'd need to supply everything.
Bathroom was tiny but sufficient.
Everything was very clean
The lady on check-in was not particularly friendly which surprised us as everyone in Mexico seems to be friendly.
I did like the room, but as the bed is in the loft area it was very hot, though relatively cold outside, and there was no airflow what-so-ever. It made it impossible for me to sleep. A fan in the room would have probably helped this.
Wifi barely worked in our room.
It was in a great spot though.
I will try a different hotel when I am next in Morelia, which I hope to be as it is a lovely city.

the most recomendable experience, freat price, great ubication, and the service is out of words, they are very friendly servicial, helpful. it has a service for parking during the nigth, so a great place to stay,
