The center of Mexico City historical center

We spent 6 days there. Hotel has perfect location and very nice staff. Our room was cleaned every day. Not expensive. We slept very well.
Note: Prepare deposit for TV remote controller.
We recommend this hotel.

super bad experience

The hotel conditions are not good. The room is very dirty, the Internet barely works. Terrible room service. I forgot some belongings and called the same day to pick them up and they told me to call the next day and then they told me that there was nothing... I mean no security or respect for the client. I left two days before what I had already paid, they didn't even give you 20% back, nothing at all... I mean a failure and a super bad experience. I don't recommend it at all...

Very rude lady at the front desk

Called the hotel to make a reservation 3 months in advance. My mistake was not to get the name of the person I talked to. When I arrived to the hotel, the first words out of the mouth of the lady was "No tenemos cuartos" . How about a good morning and do you have a reservation. When I told her my name and that I have a reservation she just kept repeating we do not have your name and we do not have rooms. Reservation name R. Paz

nice place good price

the place is a good one and not expensive. the rooms are simples but clean. don't expect too much from this hotel, but if you want simple accomodation and simple service is fine. ventilation and light are not the best. is in a good position to move around the central city. the area is not the safest in the city at night but police are very present.

Disappointed traveler

Over the past several years, I have stayed at Hotel Cuba many times (and usually for three weeks at a time). Until the last several trips I had been very happy with the hotel, but the last two trips I had bad experiences.
In April I was forced to move to another room for one night at great inconvience to me. I had unpacked everything and was settled in for 3 weeks, I thought. Apparently management wanted my room for a group or large family and they gave me NO CHOICE.
This last trip was even worse.. I had made reservations three weeks in advance and requested that I would like one of the three rooms that I prefer. I recieved an e-mail saying reservation confirmed.. When I arrived I was told that the room(s)were not available and I was given a room with a double bed (the room I requested had a king size bed) and was an inside room with very poor ventilation.
I am sorry that the management apparently does not value good repeat customers..
