Boutique hotel that embraces the texture of Mexico~

In the heart of the historical, residential and vibrant Condesa, Casa Cuenca is an elegant and immensely joyful place to rest and dine. It is a boutique hotel that embraces the texture of Mexico. The location is an ideal place to wander and enjoy local parks, close to museums, shops, and dining. The Casa Cuenca staff is welcoming, warm, and attentive (not overly so). Breakfast was perfect, where the mood and lively nature of the common and dining space eased us into the streets of Mexico City. We loved the Presidential Suite: the bed enveloped us after a day of walking, where the linens are cloud like and the lovely bathroom details were very much appreciated. We will be back and will recommend to all our traveler friends who appreciate fine hospitality, design, good food, drink and people. I am still thinking about that corn soup we had our first night. Thanks for a wonderful stay!~

Hotel crap in the Countess.

It's a real crap place, pretentious, expensive and ridiculous!!! There was no air conditioning in the night and you are charged 50% of the rate (which is not cheap) if you go over 1 minute of the check out!!!!!!!! They charge you as a PENALTY!!! Whatever you do, you don't stay here! With so many beautiful places in my city, this is crap!!!!!

Lovely stay in a great location

Small, quiet, clean hotel with friendly staff; perfect location in a lovely neighborhood close to wonderful restaurants and great parks! Our room was perfectly appointed, but more in-room coffee pods would have been appreciated for us early risers! Breakfast was perfect!

This is a gem in mexico city!!!

This hotel was INCREDIBLE!!1
the staff continued to bend over backwards our entire stay. the location is convienant to so much in CDMX. The breakfast was AWESOME!!. sitting in the courtyard or outside, was a great way to start each day. I must also say that Philip and Alejandro were both wonderful to deal with. They went above and beyond during our stay. it was my birthday while we were ther. they had a giant ballon and a wonderful whole cake in our room...this was so nice and unexpected. they made arrangements for an englisg speaking tour guide to the pryamids, he was great. they also directed us to a great Mexcal tasting, very near the hotel. They also helped us with various restuatranrs.
I would totally recomend this hotel to anyone! the presidental room was a real treat. Our flight arrived at 5 am. we got to the hotel and dropped off our bags. we ventured into the city. when we got back, we did not expect our room to be ready. Phillip made arranggements for us to use another room, to shower and change. even though this meant they had to clean the room again, they made sure we were accomidated. as i said, this is a GREAT hottle with wonderful staff.

Nice hotel, shame about the service

Sadly the hotel was let down by the service. The breakfast we paid for was incredibly basic, anything nicer cost more. A bit money grabbing to say the least.The hotel was told well in advance that one of us was gluten intolerant, guess what NO gluten free anything available, except fruit and eggs. The first hotel in Mexico we have encountered with no gf facilities.
