⭐ 1/5 — Discriminatory treatment and unprofessional staff
I arrived at 10:30 AM for an early check-in that I had requested in advance and for which I was willing to pay. They asked me to return at noon. When I returned, I was told that there were no available rooms, despite the fact that I saw four rooms being vacated right in front of me. I explained that my partner is a professional musician with a concert that night and I asked again, offering to pay extra. I was denied the room. Three minutes later, two guests without a reservation arrived at the front desk and were attended to immediately, receiving a room key on the spot. One of the receptionists also made a disparaging comment out loud in the lobby, in front of everyone. I went to the Hotel Lucerna next door, where I was received immediately and treated with respect and warmth. I am a loyal Marriott customer and this experience was a serious failure in service and in equal treatment of guests.
