Amazing escape in Valle de Guadalupe. Very secluded and private setting. Staff was amazing and always helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend. Food pool side was exceptional and a dip in the hot tub and pool is a must.

Amazing service, hospitality, and wine — it was truly an incredible experience. We weren’t aware ahead of time that the restaurant and hot tub would be out of service, and it would have been nice to have that communicated prior to arrival. That said, the staff was wonderful and made the stay incredibly enjoyable. We spent our evenings relaxing by the fire pit, and the front desk recommended and arranged some fantastic local restaurants for us. It also would have been great to have the restaurant open in the mornings, even if just for coffee service.
Overall, it was a unique and memorable experience all around, and we’re already planning another visit in the near future. We truly appreciated the attentiveness, hospitality, and beautiful atmosphere throughout our stay.

Fabulous stay in the Valle de Guadalupe

I just returned from a stunning visit to hotel Encuentro Guadalupe. I'm still revisiting the property in my mind as it was so awesome. Do not let some of the negative reviews put you off. Plan a stay here and you won't be disappointed. The staff are all very warm, welcoming and super personable. The architect who designed the hotel, environs, and furniture did an awesome job. If you love architecture and design married to ecology you will be in heaven. There is something unique and beautiful everywhere you look. The woman who checked us in treated us like family. The same can be said for Hiram the guy that serves you the welcome glass of wine in the tasting bar. He told us so much good information about the history of the area and winery. He was also an amazing host the next morning for breakfast. The shuttle drivers are phenomenal in getting you and your belongings to your eco loft safely and with warmth. They even came and lit our fire pit and helped when we accidentally locked ourselves out. I loved the beautifully designed plaques around the property telling about the flora that is native to the property and was left undisturbed by the building of steel supports for the lofts. It is a treasure and unique in an area of breathtaking beauty. It was clear and we were able to star/moon gaze with a warm blaze burning outside in the metal fireplace. Everything worked beautifully. The pool/jaccuzzi area is fabulous set on the side of the hill with views down to Valle de Guadalupe. Jacuzzi is open all night. It was just a short hike down on nice trails. Beds are very comfortable and bedding and towels are very nice. The eco lofts are separated by quite a bit of space so total quiet and privacy is assured. It was truly a dream escape in the magnificent Valle de Guadalupe.

Encuentro was amazing. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Catered ti our every need at all hours of the day. Absolutely loved this place.
