Rooms ground floor to avoid. Otherwise decent hotel and welcome. Hearty breakfast and good.

Hotel a little aging (a renovation of the wall painting would be a plus)
Absolutely avoid the rooms on the ground floor.
Mine gave on a high wall 50 cms from the window of the room .so no exterior visibility and guaranteed darkening .(Window without possibility of opening.) and therefore no balcony
. For an overnight stay I did not ask to change , but you should not be claustrophobic.
Otherwise the bedding is very good , the original decor , the reception is very friendly and pleasant.
The breakfast very hearty and good. The smile of the camareras ,which served us,, would have been a plus ....but good...
the hotel is a little far on foot , in the evening , from the main square ....but it makes digest .
If not Bacalar, I personally loved , in my journey of Yucatán.
And lunch the next day at mister tacos , I also highly recommend . Atypical place and good cuisine

The staff was really kind and courteous. The design of the bedroom was really different than all the other hotels I’ve visited before. This is not a big hotel, half outside, really interesting!

Very quiet place not far from main town square in Bacalar, lovely breakfast made to order and comfortable beds and spaces. Nice pool to chill if you have kids!
