Almost as own

Choosing this as an alternative to living is almost like having your own home and house.
Well received and information on arrival.
Spacious accommodation with bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and storage room.

Located near the country road but a bit from shops and beach.

Lovely studio and area area. Attentive and engaging host.

The studio and grounds exceeded our expectations. Ben was friendly, efficient and willing to help and advise on excursions locally we might like. Very modern supermarket nearby
Le Morne Brabant is awe-inspiring and unmissable.
The restaurant close by (The Sugar something?) was very good,

Basic appartment

These appartments are located on the road from Le Morne to La Gaulette, but there is no sign with the name of the place on it so it can be a bit tricky to find. Especially if you arrive at night. The appartment is clean but a little outdated. The tv did not work. Airconditioning was working fine though. I had a little issue with some insects but okay, Mauritius is a tropical country so you can expect that. The staff was nice and helpfull.

Very good housekeeping.

We have chosen This appartment for its 9.1 rating. This rating is valid for the lady that cleans the appartment daily and provides the guests with new towels. She is very good.
It is not valid for the appartment itself. The outdoor is difficult to lock. The locker can not be used. Furthermore the lamps had different light. One is milk white, the other is white etc. The supply of cuthlery is just enough. The same counts for the pottery. Their quality is average.

Great place to stay in Mauritius south-west corner

We stayed here a couple of nights and liked it a lot. Nice manager, Mr Ben. If you arrive from the airport a driver will pick you up if you want. Clean, quite cosy apartment with a somewhat dark garden. This is not luxury but we found everything perfect. You can rent bikes in La Gaulette about 1 km to the north. No shortage of beautiful beaches on the Morne peninsula, good snorkling. About 30 min on bike on the main road to the trail up Le Morne, access from the east. You don´t need a guide to climb the mountain. Nobody approached us for money, probably because we started the climb in the afternoon. Well, the gate is locked but with some scrambling you can get around the fence. The path is quite steep in some parts. Great view over the coral reef. Supermarket in La Gaulette. Would definitely use this place again.
