The check-in experience was extremely poor. We waited over an hour for the host to arrive with the key and were left standing outside under a tree during that time. Multiple phone calls were made, but the host showed a lack of accountability and did not offer any apology. Additionally, the air conditioning did not work upon arrival. We had to call several times before the issue was resolved, which turned out to be a dead battery in the remote. Overall, the experience was very frustrating and poorly managed.

Perfect Location but the Worst Hygiene Ever – Avoid at All Costs
While the location of this place is perfect—right in Grand Baie and close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and more—the hygiene is absolutely appalling. Out of all my trips, this is by far the worst place I have ever stayed.
The apartment was filled with cockroaches, and the cleanliness was non-existent. The bathroom was terrible, with dead insects scattered everywhere. Initially, the place might seem decent, but once you stay the night, you’ll see the huge cockroaches coming out. It was a nightmare.
The staff are nice, which is the only positive, but staying in this apartment would be a complete catastrophe. I strongly advise against it—do not stay here!
