Great property with spacious, clean rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast was fresh, with many choices and personal service. I highly recommend this property in Rabat.

Lack of education and a rude attitude.
The hotel itself is very good and, as mentioned by other guests, it has many positive points. Upon our arrival, the young woman at the reception welcomed us with great kindness and professionalism.
Unfortunately, the next day, our experience completely changed due to the attitude of a gentleman at the reception (around fifty years old), who was rude and disrespectful. On several occasions, he responded to us unpleasantly, did not assist us properly when we wanted to order a taxi, and reacted very inappropriately when we did not understand the darija. Even regarding a late check-out that had already been agreed upon beforehand, his response was again very discourteous.
This is not the level of welcome and service that one expects from a hotel of this category. I live in Morocco and I must sincerely say that I have never had such an unpleasant experience with anyone. It is truly a shame, as a stay that could have been very pleasant was marred by this behavior and left us with a bad impression at the time of our departure.

A little piece of heaven.
Tourist guides recommend this hotel for its charm and the style of the house which is a perfect match between Moroccan and French creativity. They also praise the quality of French and Moroccan cuisine, the beauty of the garden and the comfort of the rooms.
All this is correct.
But besides, there is the kindness of the whole staff that warms the heart.

Null and disappointing service
I decided to give Villa Mandarin a chance again because I really like the setting. Unfortunately, the service is still disappointing.
Today we had a simple network problem with our bank at the time of payment (the amount was well available). Instead of looking for a solution, the waiter was haughty and demeaning, repeating that “it never happened to him”, as if we refused to pay.
Such a pleasant setting deserves a service to match. Too bad.
