We had a great 2 night stay specifically to do some hiking. These were easy walks in the foothills. If you don't walk then there is nothing else to do apart from relax.
Hassan was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice served in the garden 😋
Only negative was the bed... I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor it was so HARD!

Peaceful retreat
Location: remote, peaceful
Atmosphere: relaxed, authentic
Rooms: I had a suite which was spaceous. The wind however created some annoying whistle under the roof.
Cleanliness: perfect
Service: they really were very helpful on an early morning departure, and also helped arrange transportation. Thank you!
amenities: They say luxury, I would actually say pretty normal for European standards, but it was a perfect retreat to unwind and do a hike. Zero regrets!
Extra points for being owned by locals!

a very relaxing retreat
Since my last visit a year ago, Ecolodge has improved significantly. It was lush, peaceful and homely, A little haven away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech
The room was spacious and cosy; the bed was comfortable, and the coffee corner was the cherry on top. The loungers outside the room are a relaxing welcome after long walks.
The star of the show was the goats, who kept us entertained in the garden. They were funny to watch.
A special thanks to the staff, especially Hassan, who was very friendly and helpful
I would definitely recommend Ecolodge

Highlight of my trip to Morocco
The ecolodge is located in a beautiful rural area close to the Atlas mountains. The staff at the ecolodge went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and memorable stay. The grounds and gardens are stunning and well maintained, there is fresh fruit and herbs growing. We arrived early and were able to access the room at this time. There were extra blankets on the beds which was perfect as the temperature dropped in the evening. The pool was great for a swim after a hike or in the afternoon. It might not be suitable for children as it's unheated but I found it very refreshing. The swing was lots of fun too. The fresh drinking water was a pleasant addition and meant I could refill my water bottle, reducing any plastic waste.
The food at the ecolodge was delicious + reasonably priced. There are local restaurants nearby but from Google maps it looked like a 20 - 30 minute walk so we chose to enjoy the food at the ecolodge. We arranged a local guided hike with lunch in a Berber village and I must say this experience was the highlight of my visit to Morocco. Our guide Hassan gave us options to choose a route which suited the group and was attentive and considerate. Hassan checked that everyone was ok throughout the hike and also shared local knowledge with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious home cooked meal for lunch. I hope to visit again and do more hiking in this area as there are lots of options nearby.

Top stay
We had a very relaxing stay in the family room. From airport pickup to the lodge everything was well organised and very flexible. Lovely well maintained gardens with nice seating areas to relax in. Meals were of high quality served outside on the lawn or in the restaurant. Treks were done by very professional knowledgeable guides who tailored the day to your preferences. Lunches those days were very good too. We would highly recommend visiting the ecolodge. Thanks to Hassan and all the staff!
