Excellent

Riad on top. The hosts Fouad and Mohammed are adorable and attentive. Delicious breakfast , clean room... Moreover it is ideally located, close to all services. Guaranteed immersion in the heart of Marrakech. I highly recommend it.

Like living with a local family

It was our first visit to Morocco .. we are seasoned travellers . Decided to book a Riad instead of a hotel ,after reading lota of reviews online .
Location .. close to the Jamaa el'fNa square ( 10 minute walk). It is down a narrow alleyway ( never felt unsafe even late at night), and you will NOT be able to find it first time... So ask the owner to book the taxi from airport.
Room and the riad ..
We had a room with 3 single beds for a family of 3 ( I avoided riads offering sofa beds, during my search )... Very small room, but very comfortable 3 single beds, and we had a good night's rest each night.
Has a effective split AC ( we used the heating function at night , as we were there in end December ).
The room was cleaned and made up each day .
The bathroom is very small ,but functional and the water was at a good pressure and hot.
There are some points in the stairs where you have to bend to go up ,if you don't want a big bruise on your head ( I noticed this in many buildings/ restaurants in Marrakech )... I mention this as it is unlikely to be suitable for the elderly with reduced mobility.( ? Possibly the same situation with most Riads?.. I don't know ).
The room lights were very dim and it was difficult to read a book.
Not much space to put anything on a table or hang stuff up .
A freestanding cupboard just about did the job of fitting our clothes for the 5 night stay.
Breakfast .. on the terrace ,as is the norm in Marrakech. Various kinds of bread ,jams/ marmalade/ butter , fresh orange juice and tea/ coffee , and a pot of yoghurt... Same/ similar everyday. Don't expect eggs etc.... Always filled us enough in the morning . And was served with love and attention.
Amin and the lady who manage the property were very polite and helpful.
Overall , if you want comfort / basics that most travellers take for granted, book a hotel. If you want the experience of a Riad , be prepared to be a bit underwhelmed and the Hyalana is probably better than most in Marrakech ( balance of price, cleanliness ,location )

Estupenda atención, como en casa

Este Riad se merece una nota tan buena por la excelente atención de su anfitrión Amine, atento a cualquier necesidad o problema que surja a cualquier hora del día. Haciendo un tremendo esfuerzo por entenderse con las huéspedes, chapurreando un poquito de español, además de ofrecernos un desayuno impresionante. Una buena limpieza del alojamiento. Las diez quedamos muy satisfechas.
