Recommended
I stayed at the riad and overall the experience was very positive. The structure is beautiful, well-kept and with an authentic atmosphere that makes you really experience Marrakech. Also the staff was always kind and helpful: a special mention to Omar, really welcoming and attentive to the needs of guests. One morning, despite the early schedule, he still prepared us a coffee before breakfast, a gesture much appreciated.
A small note concerns the size: from the photos the structure looks bigger than it really is, but this has not compromised the quality of the stay.
Also worth considering is the location: the road to reach the riad is not the most comfortable and, if you arrive by taxi from the airport, you still need to do about 10 minutes on foot. Moreover, if you have organized excursions, it is not very convenient because transfers do not pass in front of the structure and you have to move on foot to a meeting point.
The only real aspect to improve is the breakfast time: it is served from 8:30, which is a bit late especially if you have organized tours with pick-up at 7:00–7:30. In these cases, you may not be able to use them.
In any case, I would recommend the riad for the welcome and atmosphere.

A beautiful oasis of calm
This is a beautifully appointed Dar in the heart of the Medina. It is an oasis of calm after the bustle of the narrow streets. Omar and Sana couldn't do enough to accommodate us from offering suggestions of places to visit to helping guide us too and from our taxis.
With only a small number of rooms gives it an cosy and friendly feel. The breakfasts were amazing and different every day. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere scrupulously clean.
Once you have your bearings it is easy to find, using a few landmarks along the way. It is conveniently located near the popular sights and Marrakech itself is small enough to walk everywhere.
We had a lovely few nights and would recommend a stay if you wish to stay in the heart of the Medina.

An oasis of calm in Marrakech.
The Riad Dar Asam was an oasis of calm. Everything was beautifully presented and had an air of sophistication. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfasts, each one of which was slightly different. Most of all, however, we would like to thank Omar and Christiane for their kindness and efforts to ensure that our stay in Marrakech was memorable.

11 out of 10!
If we could have scored an 11, we would have. Arriving late at night Omar came and picked us up from the nearest place. They arranged a transfer for us and it was all very smooth. When you come in from the busy medina you walk into a sactionary right in the heart of the town. Very quiet, lovely atmoshere, lovely smell (the oil the heat up makes the whole place smell delicious without being over the top). The service from Omar and Sana was well above and beyond duty. Nothing is too much, there is always time for a friendly chat and big smiles. Sana cooked dinner for us two times and the restaurants in town have to be jealous that they dont have her as a chef. We loved our week in the Riad. Thank you so much Omar and Sana for making our stay excellent! Highly recommended!
