A RIAD THAT SMELLS OF MAGIC, ELEGANCE AND SOPHISTICATION
It was our 12th time in Marrakech and we had repeatedly tried to book at this property but without success.
Finally for the Christmas period and booking directly with them we found availability.
Beyond all expectations we found ourselves in a truly Magical place.
Every detail of the riad is taken care of with extreme refinement, elegance and harmony. Nothing is left to chance in any environment. You can feel the love and passion that the owners Massimiliano and Sandro, always present, dedicate to this charming building of the 1600s, which they have finely renovated while maintaining the style, materials and that enchanting and fairytale atmosphere of Morocco. Even the catering is at the top and we could enjoy delicious dinners served with cutlery and elegant ceramics in a refined setting, as well as hearty and varied breakfasts every day. The staff is always very kind, smiling and discreet, is impeccably trained and makes you feel like a special guest. The rooms are beautiful, the suites are gigantic and all furnished with taste and harmony and equipped with every comfort.
There is also the hammam where we relaxed and rejuvenated with a magnificent massage.
Conveniently located, the riad is a 2-minute walk from Mellah Square, 3 minutes from Bahia Palace and also close to El Badi Palace. Easily walking along Riad Zitoun Lakdim Street directly from Mellah Square you will arrive in 10 minutes to Jemaa El Fna Square. In addition, in Mellah Square there are taxi rank easily available both day and night. The small spice shops and haberdasheries around the riad are less touristy than the rest of the Souks of Marrakech and undoubtedly less intrusive in offering their wares.
Unfortunately, the photos fail to make you perceive the elegance and magic of the whole riad. We had a wonderful time in this lovely and welcoming place and after 4 nights we left with regret but with the certainty of definitely returning soon.

Peace and Serenity Moroccan style with fabulous customer service
I can’t rate this riad and the staff highly enough. It’s the best place I have ever stayed.
They organised an airport transfer for me and my family. They were there waiting for us when we arrived and we were taken in a lovely clean new people carrier to our destination. You are unable to drive to directly outside the riad so they had one of their staff waiting for us to take us to the riad which was a short but amazing walk. We then went from buzzing streets through a typical wooden Moroccan door into what can only be described as peace and serenity. It was a complete contrast and you couldn’t have known what lay behind the walls and door when you were out on the street. We stepped into another world and the attention to detail in the riad from the decor to customer service can only be described as excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and it felt as if we were the only customers they had to attend to as the attention to detail was amazing and very personal.
We had breakfast and a couple of evening meals both traditionally Moroccan and exquisitely prepared which we all enjoyed. So much so we chose to eat in for our second night rather than find somewhere else to dine because the food and ambience was so fantastic.
The riad was very clean and felt so luxurious it truly gave us an amazing start to our holiday and was a very hard act to follow. We also had a Hammam and massage in the riad which were also fabulous and were great value for money and set us up perfectly for our holiday. We only stayed a couple of days as we were travelling but could quite happily have stayed a few days more!

An oasis of peace in the heart of the Medina
We stayed at Riad Azoulay during our trip to Marrakech and it was a very special experience. The riad is a true oasis of peace in the heart of the Medina: as soon as you enter you leave the chaos of the city behind and are welcomed in an elegant, authentic and incredibly relaxing environment.
The rooms are beautiful, spotless and tastefully decorated in perfect Moroccan style. Even the common areas are treated in detail and create an intimate and refined atmosphere.
The staff is extraordinary: always kind, smiling and helpful, attentive to every need of guests. We felt welcomed and pampered throughout the stay.
The breakfast is great, with fresh and typical Moroccan products. We also had the pleasure of dining at the riad and the dinner was really fantastic: delicious and authentic dishes, served in a magical atmosphere that made the evening even more special.
We absolutely recommend this riad to those who want to experience the true magic of Marrakech with comfort, tranquility and great hospitality. If we return to Marrakech, we will definitely choose this wonderful place again. ⭐

Gorgeous Riad in central location.
My family opted to stay in this Riad after seeing it recommended in a travel guide. This was a wise choice as the Riad was beautiful with really welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. We were lucky to stay in the Royal suite which was spacious, had every mod con (including a coffee machine which is hugely important for me!) and felt opulent. Walking a short distance from the roadside square to reach the entrance felt like part of the Marrakesh experience, and staff met us to guide the way and help with luggage. Conveniently placed within the medina and close to all sights, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
