Perfect trip
Perfect!!!
Host Asma and Othman very welcoming and available.
It offers a very good outdoor steam room in the medina near the blue door, a perfect place to relax.
Othmane found us a good price taxi back at 4:15am and Asma printed us our return plane tickets because in Morocco he does not use the Ryanair app.
They've helped us.
Dar close to the blue door and site to visit within the medina.
Breakfast well served and delicious olive oil.
Asma's dishes are full of flavors and delicious.
The room is clean and has a large bed Very nice.
I recommend places with typical decor of Fez.

Place to absolutely avoid if you don't want unpleasant surprises!
As they say, sometimes you have to be wary of appearances.
Everything started well until the day my partner had money stolen from our room. We were out and when we returned, a €50 note which was in his wallet, in his bag, placed on the dresser, disappeared. These 50€ were intended for an excursion the next day organized with this guest house. And as if by chance it disappears...What a coincidence! Did they want to make us pay twice?
Someone clearly opened my partner's bag and her wallet to take this money, simply unacceptable! The only one who has access to our room is Asma, the one who runs this guest house. She came there every morning in our absence to clean the room.
After discussing it with her, everything is obviously denied on her part. She tries to make my partner believe that it may have fallen on the ground or that she used it without briefly remembering the excuses to deny the evidence and to prove my partner wrong. Except that it's impossible because the very morning before leaving, this note was in the wallet in the bag on the dresser. Then came a somewhat tense discussion with her as well as the boss by telephone because they did not want to acknowledge the facts or at least try to drown out the fish. We had to raise our tone and show our dissatisfaction and use words such as that "complaint" "tourist office" "police" so that strangely they decided to give him 500 dirhams (€50) in "compensation".
Asma and Ohtman (the other person in charge of the riad) will say that this kind of story has never happened to them and yet... what liars! Subsequently I found on booking.com some comments from travelers dating from 2023 and 2022 mentioning exactly the same problem: Money theft during their absence (during breakfast or their outing)
Also comments like this on Google.
So it's not a coincidence! These people are certainly "nice" but above all thieves and profiteers and I weigh my words carefully.
Following this, we decided not to stay despite 2 nights remaining and preferred to leave for another hotel. No more trust in these people and the fear of losing something else because of what happened.
These people show great sympathy and make friends with you to ultimately charge for everything they can scrape (like the mint tea offered on your arrival and every morning! But that without telling you until the end you will have to pay for it) and the icing on the cake: you will literally steal money from your room while you are away. So be careful with your personal belongings, valuables or money if you decide to leave them in the room.
First time this has happened to us and we leave this place very, very disappointed and angry. Thank God we later found another hotel where everything went really well.
In short, if you decide to stay with them, be very careful, these people are not trustworthy and can cause you problems despite their friendly and warm appearance..I do not recommend this accommodation in any way!

Rapport qualité prix intéressant
Riad bien situé par rapport à la médina de Fès ! Cadre et confort convenable . Prix raisonnable. Être attentif au petit déjeuner. Chambre du second étage avec Clim et télé ne fonctionnant pas . A éviter s’il fait très chaud car la chambre est bruyante si les fenêtres sont ouvertes. Chambres du bas plus agréables. Bon rapport qualité prix
