What a memorable stay!
The room is spacious, beautiful with a sea view. I’ve got a sun rise room which we’re numbered even numbers. If you want a sun set room - can ask for odd numbers room.
The location is at the city centre. Just beside the main wet / dry market.
The breakfast was nice.

Overall satisfactory. The downside is the parking which is only available at the Mall’s car park. We found the basin is blocked after we entered the room. After making a complaint to the front desk, the staff took action immediately & got the problem fixed. Kudos to Sharul & the team for their excellent service. Will definitely come back next time.

A great place to recharge
A lovely place to relax after visiting the amazing sights of Borneo. Tge room had an amazing view and luxurious comfort and the pool was out of this world. We stayed one night and feel totally refreshed!

Best in Sandakan
We stayed as a family trip for 2 nights on 26th floor. Overall the stay was decent. Room is clean but the toilet is easily clogged. Maintenance came within minutes and solved it. Pool water was cold. No in room slippers provided. Carpark is shared with the mall adjacent to it. The only downside is that the elevators is too busy. From 26th floor to First floor, took us quite some time because the hotel is busy. We will stay again since this is one of the best in Sandakan. Keep up the cleanliness. Our Airbnb was cancelled last minute and we came to Ormond last minute. Lobby has beautiful view and it’s relaxing to enjoy the sea view just by sitting there.
