Loved it

The "hotel" is well known on the island, so every taxi driver drops u there for 18rm (=3,50€).
Climbing up the hill (doable!! If you're not in shape, just slow down a bit). The wooden houses are super cute and have AC, Fridge, hair dryer and a balcony.
The staff supports you anytime and their breakfast is really really good! U can easily rent a motor bike there and if not: the first big beach (and some good food spots) is just down the hill

Beautiful!

Structure really characteristic, made with wooden houses quite comfortable and immersed in the jungle. You can see monkeys and birds of all kinds, as well as beautiful vegetation. Great location, because very close to Teluk Nipah beach. The only drawback to get there is a really steep climb of about 150 meters. There is also a shortcut in the jungle, but it is not recommended at night. The staff is exquisitely friendly and helpful throughout. We had big bags and they helped us both at check-in and check-out. I absolutely recommend it!

Great hotel. Value for money.

Stayed for 2 days. Hotel is walking distance to Teluk Nipah beach. Hotel is on top of the hill so need strong motor to go up. Owner said taxi wont send uyou all the way up. Uphill walk is about 100-150m with half of it very steep but all in all doable but i think not suitable for seniors.

Tree house with tame wild life around.

Mountain can divide opinions . It’s more the thrill of everything combined that makes it a memorable visit . The Bangladeshi hosts are very kind and helpful. Sleep quality was fine and we didn’t need the mosquito nets on the 4 poster bed. WiFi is fine and laundry is clean. Shower /wet / room / toilet is basic as are the chairs on the patio.
Breakfasts could be improved as the quality is poor. Roti breads are fine when they are laid out but 2 hours later it’s a different , similar story with the rest of the self service items .
It’s a novelty place , do hire a car or moped as the climb up is steep .
Only 18 RMS from the ferry port , 10 minutes, in a pinkish taxi .

Wonderfully quiet, but sometimes too. And lots of stairs.

We were taken from the ferry by taxi to the hotel. The taxi driver dropped us off at the back entrance without us knowing it. With the role model over a gravel/stone pass under the boiling sun is no fun. Called to the reception and that put us out of our misery. After checking in to our cottage. Not large, but with many comforts. Through the main entrance, also a style path that is a temptation for a rolling suitcase, to the village.
The next day the rain fell from the sky. Luckily we had a poncho. Upstairs we got an umbrella, but it would have been nicer if these had in the room. However, we were later taken to the village by car because it was still raining steadily. That same car freighter also to the taxi when we left,
For the circumstances a good breakfast and in addition very helpful staff completed the whole.
