I loved the stay!

I just have compliments for this place. The room was new and clean. The very quick checkin through the window that has in the hallway to the door of the building that is next to the bar. I've seen people complain about it but it doesn't affect anything and there's no contact with the guest
with the commercial establishment next door. Very quiet and close to the train station. Hot water, heating, all great. New mobile, TV with streaming. On the street there are at least 3 supermarkets for you to buy things or have your breakfast. The super nice cleaning girls and the boy who welcomed me also smiling and accessible. I stayed alone and did not feel insecure, although the street is actually quite busy at night due to the bars and boats. I'd definitely come back. I felt safe and I locomovi very easy to everywhere from the hotel.

Really to avoid, really unpleasant staff father and son because it is a family matter

To improve

I slept here three nights, from Saturday to Tuesday. There are many positive aspects but unfortunately the general evaluation is negative: the room had a strong smell of smoke, it was clean but during my stay it was no longer cleaned and the bed was not made, some repairs should be done (such as the mirror in the room and the carpet). The worst is the noise, because you have to keep the window closed and not even earplugs are enough: a place next door plays terrible music at full volume for a good part of the afternoon and night; what's more, there are homeless people walking around all night, who are certainly not silent. The reception staff was always friendly. It is very convenient for taking the train, tram and buses, including the 29 which passes through the airport. There is no lift but those who have a room on a lower floor have to put up with more noise from the street (I was on the third floor and I heard too much).

Good location, rather poor hotel

I spent two days to explore the beautiful city of Luxembourg. This hotel is located almost in the centre of the city. I understand some people complain about the noisy bar, but my room on second floor was quiet. Room was clean but rather dated. Unfortunately, the shower was only cold on my first day. I told the staff and they fixed it, but the next morning it was cold again. I told the staff again, but I even had to pay for the cup of coffee I took at the bar. One can expect a bit more for EU 85 a night.

Not a best hotel, but budget-friendly

This hotel shares the same building as a bar, so it can be very noisy at night.
The room is very old without AC, with a fan that is not enough to cool the heat.
Shower is extremely small, and the room can really use some cleaning.
But I cannot complain considering it was the only option within the budget.
I think there are better options on AirBnB with the same price, but if you want to seek a real hotel with a front desk (which shares with the bar), this hotel is for you. Staffs are friendly. This is just a very old hotel (with noise). That's all.
