Stylish hotel

The hotel is in a good location and we had a really nice room and the entrance to the hotel is very classic. It has a pool which is great after a day of sightseeing. The staff were nice. Breakfast could be improved, needs more variety.

Historic building full of charm

We were two couples newly arrived in Laos and we were immediately under the spell of this beautiful colonial house.
It is very well located for walking or walking.
The very friendly staff gave us good advice and helped us with train tickets, taxi, tuktuk.
We can only recommend this house!

Great location and go there with confidence

This hotel is ideally located whether you want relaxation or easy access to the city center.
The charm of this colonial hotel will make you forget the hubbub of the city.
The decor is beautiful, the rooms are very well kept and very clean.
The staff are really professional and always smile. Special mention to the person who is present in the evening at the reception which is of absolute kindness. Thank you NOY for his valuable advice and smile.
Breakfast is really very good. The pool is ideally located for relaxing. In the evening if you want to have a drink at the bar you will have the pleasure of relaxing in this lounge absolutely decorated from years past but it is only happiness.
Do not hesitate to book at this hotel which will contribute to the complete success of your trip.

Nice but be careful

Good situation, rooms OK. Breakfast is various and the staff of the restaurant is perfect. Problem, don’t leave to much in the room, it will disappear.
No response from the hotel ….

Needs some investment and renovation

We booked an executive for one night as part of our trip around Laos, having booked the room 8 months earlier I would have thought they would have given us a decent rate. But upon arrival immediately realised they did and we could have got the room for $200 cheaper had we booked it the night before. So if your travelling in Laos beware of this as obviously if they are quiet they will discount, but the normal rates should have been far less.
The staff are first rate and friendly with a very professional manner. I felt sorry for some of them as there are no lifts in this 1930 building so they had to lift our cases up the stairs to our room. The room was huge and had what back in the 1930’s would have been world class fixtures and fittings. Don’t get me wrong they all work but it does feel like it needs updating somewhat.
The food was really good in the restaurant as along with breakfast we also ate lunch there and the airport transfers were good that we availed of, but it lacked staff hence I dropped it from a four star rating to a three and I was less than impressed with their pricing policy.
