Great Stay
The breakfast was a buffet style set up and was very nice. Recommend including this with your booking.
The room we got was a relatively nice size but our friends got given a much more snug double room so it may be pot luck which one you get unless you specify maybe.
The room was clean, A/C was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were happy with our stay and recommend on.
Only down sides for me was that we didn’t get given a loo roll in our room and had trouble locating a member of staff to request one which was a little annoying. The bathroom is also very small and the shower isn’t a great set up, it’s angled up right so pretty impossible to wash your hair/body as you need to hold the shower head while washing.
Overall stay was good though and comfy beds! Must stress I wouldn’t be put off staying here again.

Awful hotel avoid !
Bed was broken and fixed with planks of wood with nails in them
Bathroom was so small you had to sit in the toilet to have a shower and it was mouldy and the Tap didn’t work
The window was just bricks - no natural light or air
Room was dirty
The reception staff unhelpful- no manger to speak to - and when I did he didn’t call when he should have done and sent me a rude email did deal with my complaint
We left a night early and not offered a refund ! Worst service and room I have had in 2 months of travel !!

Very Noisy, No Windows, No Air, No space in the Bathroom, No elevator...

Awful experience.
As we arrived at new I house we were shown next door to Mali Namphu hotel (I thought this would be where we had to check in maybe). We were asked to pay more than advertised and had a battle to pay a little less (but still not as what advertised). We were then taken to a small room in Mali namphu with no balcony and no explanation of why we were not staying in the hotel that we booked.
I questioned this and was told they weren’t informed I booked a deluxe room. So after a short wait we were taken to another room.... no private balcony or apology once again.
I requested to talk to the manager and was presented to a man who could only explain that this hotel was the sister hotel and that ihouse was full. I explained my problem was this had not been explained at check in, I paid more than I wanted to for the room, I was shown to a room that was substandard and then to another room that still did not fit the booking description. I explained my issue was being deceived and a little honesty and room discount at this point would have gone a long way.
Apparently I was putting up walls and so it was impossible for him to help me.
After a further struggle I managed to get booking cancelled for free and refund and leave the hotel. I would recommend to avoid this place. I’ve travelled a lot and value for money is not good. The experience of my one hour here was worse than any other in SE Asia where in general people are very honest and polite. Local staff appeared to try and help as much as they could.
