Awful Hotel
Hotel consists of loud Chinese guests screaming and yelling at all hours of the day, with no regard for others. This started from 6am and continued right throughout the evening until 10pm. This was raised with the hotel who don’t seem to care or do anything about it.
Other issues:
- Zero sound proofing in the rooms
- Awful breakfast, only thing ok was the croissant which the other guests pile up on their plate to take back to their rooms, not leaving any for others
- No safe in the room
- No TV in the room
- Smallest roll of toilet paper I have ever seen
- Awful shower and water pressure
- Key card needs to be inserted, but when you leave for the day all power is shut off meaning you cannot charge any devices throughout the day
- No food or drinks available outside of breakfast, they refused to even provide milk for tea because they ‘need it for breakfast in the morning’
- Hotel shows photos of a laundry, but this isn’t available or the hotel receptionist lied and wouldn’t provide access
- Not the best location
- Staff not very friendly or helpful
- Poorly designed & built hotel. You can see gaps between the door and the brickwork. It doesn’t feel very safe.
- Booked an airport transfer for 1.30pm the night prior. At 2pm, it still had not shown. I asked the hotel for help, but they didn’t care or seem to try. Ended up just booking my own as we just wanted to get out of there.
I have no problem with a hotel that wants to cater to a specific demographic, however that shouldn’t be at the expense of providing worse service to others. This was the most uncomfortable and unwelcoming hotel stay in our Indochina trip and I suggest you avoid it at all costs.
