I should go back

Isn’t probably the most “poshy” place in Luang Prabang but the staff is very gentle and helpful, even in matters not directly related to the stay. I liked the space in front, the fact that isn’t on a main road. Quiet enough but at a walking distance from the downtown.
Rooms are ok, can be better but everything was functioning in the proper way. There are many others guesthouses in town, but I would like to return here. I enjoyed the stay, and once again thanks to the staff.

great coffee, great people, great views

A couple blocks from some of the main streets which was kinda nice to be away from the hectic, but close enough where it was only a 5 minute walk to get down there. We were woken up by a rooster at 2 am most days, which wasn't the greatest -- but were overcome by the charming staff, great (free) breakfast, and clean place.

Extremely basic, lousy location, smells bad

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in early January. I’d like to say that the place was fine because the staff was nice, and breakfast was fine, but the room was pretty awful. It smelled really bad, and while the sheets looked clean, they didn’t feel clean. We asked to have them changed which made the stay a little better after that. Our room had a king size bed with a very hard, uncomfortable mattress. At least there was a/c and a fan. We tried opening the window, but there are fish ponds beneath the windows on the outside of the building on the ground floor which are unclean. I suspect those are the source of the very bad smell. Wi-Fi was a little slow in the evening. There were few plugins for charging our electronics. Breakfast was included and was okay, though it was the same thing every morning. Also, this hotel’s location isn’t very good; it is some distance from the temples, restaurants, museums, night market which makes it a hassle to go back to the hotel to drop stuff off or to change clothes. One very good thing was cheap, 12 hr turnaround laundry service - available to be sent out from the front desk. Overall, I really didn’t care for this hotel and was extremely disappointed. I would definitely not stay here again. My recommendation is to look elsewhere for your accommodations. There are nicer hotels of much better value available in Luang Prabang.

OK

Stayed here as part of a an intrepid tour. The location is a 10 minute walk into the town down a quiet street. Not bad for a budget hotel. The breakfast is served outside on sticky tables which could do with renewing.

Not a bad accomodation

If you’re looking for a private room within the ranges of the affordable this is not a bad place. Air condition works very well and wifi signal is not so bad. They offer breakfast for sale, free coffee and they have laundry service. Toilet paper needs serious improving, other than that it works.
