Very friendly owners

This is a nice little guest house in a great location, just around the corner from the street food alleys near the night market and close to the views of the Mekong. Really friendly owners who can’t do enough for you even though they speak no English at all. Reasonable price for the room too.

Central, accommodating

We stayed for three nights moved to a different room on the second and third night. The first room we paid a little extra but was really good. It is worth what you pay for, clean and well situated. Free fruits and tea/coffee and water as well. The owner is very informative and when we had to check out late he politely gave us the latest time we could check out and said it's because his cleaning staff were off at a certain time.

This accommodation was so lovely and sweet. The surrounding neighbourhood is absolutely gorgeous (as is all of Luang Prabang). The owners take so much care of the place and the lady at the counter was so helpful and kind.
When it started raining she offered us an umbrella. She also organised a tuk tuk to take us to the airport (at a better rate than what we were offered elsewhere, not that it matters because everything is really cheap anyway).
When there was no-one at the counter we saw her using an App to improve her English. Anyone who has tried to learn a second language would know how difficult it is and we were so impressed by her efforts.
The rooms are a little rundown, but you have to expect this given what you pay, but they are perfectly clean and everything works. The owners take a lot of pride in their work, keeping it as clean as possible. Shoes need to be taken off before you enter the front foyer. I know this might seem inconvenient but you can get very muddy shoes walking around Luang Prabang so I think it’s necessary to keep the place clean.
If I ever have the privilege of returning to Luang Prabang I would definitely stay here again.

Solo at Luang Prabang

The location of the guesthouse is very near the night market and the Mekong River. The place is quiet, clean, and has a homey atmosphere. I stayed for 2 nights and the staff were very accommodating and kind. They are very helpful when I ask for directions. They even offered to help me in getting to Kuang Si Falls. The price of stay was very affordable for a backpacker like me. They have free coffee all day. My room is complete with nice and clean bathroom, flat screen tv, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. I will surely stay again here again and recommend the place to other travelers like me.

Great location and value for money

We are traveling in a group of 3 and booked a family room. The room and toilet were quite spacious. Cleanliness was okay. Basic amenities were provided but the Wifi speed is very slow (almost non-existent). The hostel location was very strategic. It was located near to the night market (within a 3 minutes walk).
The owners were Chinese and both are helpful in providing information regarding the area. Laundry and tours are provided.
However, we could smell smoke in the morning. Maybe it was nearby some of the restaurants which make us feel uncomfortable.
Nonetheless, it's still a great place to stay while you are in Luang Prabang. Recommended!
