Coralys and Ramón Aristides, will host you in a beautiful and original Colonial House from the year 1901. The property has several private rooms with capacity for 3 people. The perfect accommodation to welcome all types of travelers. We are in the neighborhood of Centro Habana, less than 10 minutes from Old Havana. Ramón's accommodation is in Havana, Cuba.Hostal del Artista is located in the heart of Havana, in the neighborhood of Centro Habana. Very close to the Central Park, the Paseo del Prado and the Capitol of Havana, which can be seen from the cozy terrace. A few minutes away is the Gran Teatro de la Habana, the Contemporary Art Museums, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of the Revolution and the Old Quarter of Old Havana, with its emblematic bars such as Floridita and Bodeguita del Medio. Only three blocks from our accommodation, you will find La Casa de la Música of Centro Habana and the Habanero boardwalk

A colonial house, clean and cozy, perfect to reside in the reality of Havana. In the heart of it!
Hosted by Ramon and Coralís, they make you the perfect stay.
They help you with everything!
Data to have change, taxis, restaurants, etc.

I had mixed feeling about my experience. While the host was exceptionally friendly and helpfull, the accommodation itself left much to be desired. The noise level outside varied greatly; being quite noisy one night and suprisingly quite the next. Considering the cost of accommodation I think this level of noise is a common problem in Old Havana. The appartment themselves are clean and in an interesting style - I'd say Indian style, there is wi-fi and tv-set.

We are very thankful for our Hosts my husband and I arrived sick from travel through another country. Ramon and his wife greeted us and attended to our needs immediately. They nursed us through our sickness and catered to our every need without us asking for anything. They cooked us special food to help with our recovery and provided extra items for us. Our stay in this Beautiful home was wonderful and the family who hosted us are just wonderful people. Our dream was to visit Cuba we started out rocky but were lucky enough to be in a home with these people who treated us as their family. All we can say is Thank You ever so much for making our Cuba dream come true despite starting out sick. We loved Cuba and every person we met in Cuba was very welcoming and sweet. We would love to come back to visit and hopefully will. We highly recommend Casa de Ramon El Artista.

Warmth and comfort in La Havana

Ramon, thank you for the warm welcome, cleanliness, emotions and help in everything). Great hotel location, clean rooms and super hotel owner! In the evening, it’s great to sit in a rocking chair on the balcony with a glass of wine or go up to the roof and chat with Ramon. We liked everything, the whole family is happy!

In the heart of real Havana

Stayed in one of the rooms off the patio. Clean, conveniently located, coffee and breakfast was fantastic. Loved the area. Poor neighbourhood but, it is real and friendly - without the fake veneer of the resorts. Unlike the resort, everything worked which was nice. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The stairs up to the top floor are VERY narrow so, no full size suitcases on the top floor. The area is full of hustle and bustle but, it quieted right down at night.
Ramone is great! I will definitely stay here again.
