Beautiful Cabinas in the Green

Beautiful, simple bungalows surrounded by greenery. It was very quiet and relaxed. Super to relax for 1-2 nights. The accommodation can only be reached by boat, but we were always driven if we wanted to cross. You should be aware that there is really nothing with the bungalows but soul dangling and watching nature. If you are looking for entertainment is probably not the right place here (and also in Sierpe).
Rein represented the owner during our stay and went to great lengths and also organized us a super mangrove tour. In addition, we were spoiled with coffee in the morning. Good value for money.

The cabinas with a thousand stars!

Sleep under the stars, soothed by the sound of the jungle; wake up to a concerto of bird too numerous to cite. Relax on the deck by the river, enjoy the breeze and get a glimpse of nature at its best! Spot the crocodiles hiding in the water lilies gently wading thru the river, gaze at herons feasting on small fish, hummingbirds feeding the newborns. Behold of the ballet of boats over the river taking tourists to various destinations. Wade can assist with booking yours!
But most of all, acknowledge how fortunate and privileged we are to visit such pristine environments. A sweet escape from reality!

A beautiful address in Sierpe

Thank you Wade for the welcome, breakfast coffee on your beautiful dock!
A beautiful garden where to admire full of birds, pleasant cabinas with good bedding. Perfect starting point for a Mangrove tour, head to Bahia Drake or the village archaeological site!

It wouldn't take much, dear Wade.

To call it a resort dear host, a minimum of cleanliness would be needed otherwise it is just an Eco favela.
In the bathroom we found black dirt on the sink, even some cigarette ash. You haven't passed a broom over the floor or a rag with water and detergent, I think since the first day the shack was built. The mosquito nets are full of years-old dust. Everything else is in line with the type of environment you want to find on the edge of a forest and by the river that leaves for excursions from Sierpe. The owner, Wade, is a kind and helpful person but he needs to solve the cleaning problem because it's sad to say that it is the dirtiest place we found in the whole 20 days in Costa Rica.
