We would definitely come back!

The time at Samara Chillout Lodge was great! A very well maintained small complex with pool, partly shade / partly sunny and with cozy rocking chairs.
The rooms are very spacious and modern.
Philipp was an attentive and very friendly hotel manager with cool tips for the area.
The tropical nights were made easy for us by the air conditioning and we could sleep very well

PERFECTION

Stayed here for four nights could have stayed much longer.
Big clean room.
Great pool.
Guests mingled creating a beautiful atmosphere.
The town and beach are walkable but car rental is advisable.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Can’t wait to return.

You will love it!!

Absolutely a fantastic stay! We were guests for 2 weeks and loved every minute. Liza, Costa and the staff made our stay wonderful from the moment we walked in. A beautiful property with an amazingly private pool area. Only minutes from the centre of town and the beach. Absolutely come here if you are wanting a more traditional holiday in Costa Rica vs the hustle and bustle of the bigger centres. We don’t hesitate for a second to recommend this place. Nice lodge

We were there January 20-27th 2024.
This lodge is very clean. Our room (superior at second floor with balcony) was very clean Cleaning lady every day. Big bathroom with big shower.
I gave a 3 stars because there is no fridg in the room. This is a must. Yes we can put our things in the mini fridg at the private kitchen but not a lot of space. Just for a bottle of water.
And there is no dresser with drawers in the room. Nothing to put on our luggage on arrival. Only place is on the bed or on the floor!!!
Yes there is a big closet with a lot of hangers.
I wished I had more than just a bed sheet. A bedspread would have been nice!!
There are a lot of dogs barking at night. I know they are not at the lodge but it keeps you awake!!
The breakfast is 20$ US. Yes it is a nice breakfast but for a couple it is 40$ US.
We didn’t have a car and it was a bit far in the morning to walk for breakfast,
I wished we had a choice of what to eat with a price. 2 toasts and jam would be enough for a little price.
The coffee was free. Thanks!
One week without a car is a bit long. Walk and walk at 35 degres on a dusty road.
Tip. Bring a flashlight for your way back at night.
Loved the rocking chairs!!
Pool always clean and beautiful lights at night. Nice music all day long!
It is new owners. And the prices are higher !

Hidden paradise!!

Such a beautiful hidden oasis not too far from the the beach, 15 min walk.. cleanliness of the hotel5/5!! Breakfast was amazing, such pleasant staff. Can use the pool anytime after 9 .. Much Recommended stay! Hosts know the best restaurants around.
