Nice stay

We stayd here for 2 nights. First, when we arrived they didn't find our reservation. Our room was okay, clean. The air conditioning was working. We rented a motobike via the hotel and it cost 80 000COP for the whole day. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Perfect budget place :-) 5 stars!

This hostel has been one of my favs ever.
I accidentally fell here after leaving a very bad hostel (El Viajero).
My friend and I enjoyed the facilities. Our room was implemented with air conditioner, cable TV, private bathroom and comfortable beds.
Clean and safe new building.
It seemed like a hotel.
The stuff was very friendly and trustable.
No breakfast available, which was not an inconvenient at all.
Very close to the beach (3 blocks away).
Highly recommended.

Expensive and dirty place

Many bad things: cold water in the shower, dust and dirt everywhere, air conditioner doesn't work well, they don't have breakfast and the price is very expensive for such place. But the hostel stays in a good point in the island. I don't recommend.

Terrible! - Very unprofessional!

We made a reservation on Booking.com. Upon arrival the manager checked a tatty little notebook but could find no record of our reservation. After a phone call to his son resulted in a prolonged argument, he told us that they didn't record our reservation and the room was not available. When we explained that this situation was an inconvenience for us (considering that was high season), he became rude and unhelpful. When we pointed out that this behavior would not result in a good review he said that he "couldn't care less about THIS review"..
We suggest that the hotel manager may not care much more about the guests he does have, so beware before booking here.
PS. Don't expect to find a reception desk.. as they appear to be camped out permanently in one of the rooms.

Please Beware

I made a reservation three weeks in advance. When I arrived the man at the reception looked down at a disorganized notebook where I saw my name penciled in. He scratched his head and said that he was sorry but a group decided to extend their stay and that he gave them my room. He recommended a place across the street that was a filthy dump that only rented by the hour to couples.
This was in the high season and everywhere else was booked. I walked around the entire town asking for a room at each and every hotel that I saw. I would have paid $300 dollars. I tried all the major booking sites, couchsurfing, and asking locals until cell phone battery died. I had been walking for hours. I was homeless and helpless. I will never forget that horrible night. Luckily the police rescued me.
The man at the reception was gambling that I wouldn´t show up despite that I had clearly warned them of my arrival time.
The next day they charged my credit card for the reservation.
