Charming pool

I love this place in the city, the pool was perfect for my stay and the food very delicious and with many options to choose from. I would choose it once again for my stay, a little noise at night in the hallway but nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice hotel for a budget price

I´ve done a reservation in that hotel for a junior suite with whirlpool! The room and the bed where clean! Only the bathroom, exactly the whirlpool/ shower was a bit "dirty". Actually it was not dirt, it was the age of the tub!
The hotel is situated close to Carrera 27 and to Carrera 33 where you can do some shopping! There is also a big centro comercial, "La Isla" within a 2 min walk.
The staff was always nice and tried to help out as far as they could! I´ve stayed in that hotel for 12 nights and I felt quite comfortable. The breakfast was good, with a lot of fresh fruits and a nice variety, but you need to be in the restaurant before 09.00 a.m. to get the most out of it! All in all you get a nice hotel for a relative small buck!

Only if you are in a budget

Although there are photos of new design rooms, my room was quite old and with some problems and I didn't feel so comfortable. The wifi was awful and I complained several time with no success. The restaurant has ok food but if you have dinner there your clothes will remain very smelly. They also have a "bar" so if your windows are located towards the swimming pool it will be noisy at 10 or 11pm.The staff tries their best and they are kind, all in all it is ok but I am sure that you can find something better on that budget.

Good value!

Initially we took a budget room for 108,000 with a fan and on the very busy and loud Street but then decided to upgrade to AC and a large bed. The first room was likely their worst and smallest choice, only about 8'x8' in all. The second room was much more comfortable at 142,000 including breakfast for two and parking.
The breakfast was very nice with a lot of selection.
We didn't try the pool which looked nice enough.
We had room 315 which was clean and secure although the window locks could use some work.
Each room has a bar fridge!!

A nice, good value hotel in Bucaramanga

I really liked this place. I paid 70.000 pesos in March 2010 for an air-conditioned room with a double bed. This is about US$35, and represents a very good value considering the hotel is attractive and in a nice neighborhood. The room was actually a mini-suite, and was above-average in size and also had 2 club chairs and a table. They had a full range of cable channels, including CNN in English and Fox News from the USA. The people at the front desk were very nice whenever I had contact with them. There's a parking garage and an elevator. They have a free breakfast from 7am to 9am, and if you pay 2.000, they'll bring it to your room. I recommend getting an interior room because rooms that face the street can be a bit noisy. The mattress was fairly firm, but not rock-hard as you can find often in South America. There was also plenty of hot water at all times. The neighborhood is very nice, and seemed safe. The hotel is only a couple of blocks to the La Isla shopping center, and the La Isla station of their new transit system (similar to the Transmilenio in Bogota). Their "gym" is only a few pieces of cardio equipment, so don't let that sway you. They also have wifi and a swimming pool (I didn't use either, so can't comment). They have a single internet terminal in the lobby and they charge 1.000 pesos for each half hour. If this place is full, there is another hotel nearby (actually the backs of the hotels face each other). I didn't get to see a room in that other hotel (Hotel Alessio) because they were full, but it's brand new and about the same price.
