Lovely Staff, great food, good rooms

Good rooms, great food (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner). The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and it made for a lovely experience. The location was very convenient as it was close to the Park and you are able to see Kilimanjaro from your room.

'Accidentally even more eco' resort - affordable, lovely and fun

It is so eco, the light goes off when you take a shower. It is so eco, when you walk in the house it feels like you are on the sea ;)
I really enjoyed my time here. Yes, it is very simple and not a safari resort holiday kinda thing but perfect for an affordable weekend in Amboseli. The drive to the gate is about 30 minutes. The hosts are very friendly, the food is simple, good and the same for all guests. Request for just vegetarian food is no problem. Bring a head torch and don't roll over too quickly in your bed.

I wish I could stay longer

This place is so quite and peaceful.
I lost my wife one month ago and this trip to Kenya is very special to me. Amboseli Eco Camp was almost like a healing place for me: waking up in the cabin every morning with the view of Kilimanjaro from bed was priceless.
I read negative reviews... but these come from "fancy" people who come to Africa and pretend to live the life they live back home. Go to the UAE if that's what you're looking for.
I'm gonna come back. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful Place to Stay

This has to be the best place to stay in this area. A lovely rustic elevated lodge with en-suite facilities and veranda with a fabulous view of Kilimanjaro!
Imagine waking up in the morning to see Kilimanjaro, just beautiful.
If you are interested in supporting communities this is the place to stay.
Lovely warm and welcoming Christine where nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much
Jackson is a fabulous chef, I especially loved the pancakes at breakfast! and the evening meal was the best food I’d had in a long time. I want your recipe for the curry please!
You must talk with the ladies making the Maasai jewellery & curios, I had a wonderful time with them, with friendships made & kindness that will stay with me forever.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough, its just the perfect location, beautiful surroundings and great value for money.
I can’t wait to return!

I called them to confirm on my way from Nairobi and they advised they were closed due to covid. I made this reservation two months in advance and they had my email address, yet NEVER INFOMED ME THAT THEY WERE CLOSED. I am expecting a full refund! VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION
