Comfort and Cuisine in the heart of Garissa

Palm Oasis Hotel in Garissa was exceptional! The spacious rooms with plush king and queen-size beds were perfect for relaxing. The smart TV, backed by reliable internet and cable service, made streaming and catching up on shows a breeze. The fast Wi-Fi also ensured smooth remote work. The food stole the show—especially the Somali arosto, tender goat bursting with spices, served with rice or flatbread. The staff’s warm hospitality sealed the deal. Highly recommend!

"Oasis in a Desert"

The hotel is tastefully landscaped and for a moment one feels like you are no longer in Garissa.
The hotel has really good food, the ala carte menu is quite sufficient with a variety of meals. The buffet continental breakfast is also very good and has a good variety.
The rooms are all equipped with air conditioning and with soft beds. The room design is tasteful.
The staff at the hotel from reception to restaurant are welcoming.
My hot shower seemed not to work though.

Greenest and coolest place in Garissa

Almond has very large spacious rooms with AC, cable TV, internet and very comfortable beds for the tired traveler. Their food is good, especially breakfast which is usually continental, with everything you'd wish for... cereals, toast, halal sausage, egg, fresh fruit and fruit juice etc. in fact they grow their own mangoes right inside the hotel!
They also have a nice swimming pool for guest.

Best stay in Garissa

I was pleasantly surprised by Almond during my stay there. They have excellent facilities for lodging and conferencing. The suites are quite spacious and equipped with air conditioning. The restaurant has a spacious terrace lounge while the conference rooms were sufficiently spacious. WiFi available was sufficient for our needs. To top it all, the landscaping has been immaculately done, with neat tree-lines paths and well manicured lawns offering a picturesque backdrop to the stay. A swimming pool is at hand in case one needs a dip. I would stay here again if I were to have another trip to Garissa.

Nice establishment, horrible service!

Stayed at Almond for two nights. The rooms are really spacious and clean with good views of the green gardens and pools.
WiFi is available but limited in some of the rooms.
The food is a bit pricey considering it is just average.
The service however is one of the poorest i have experienced. The staff even the reception is extremely wanting. I also gave my shirt out for ironing, a decision i regretted as they took really long to iron it and shirt came back wet. So i was late and had to go for a meeting with a wet shirt. The staff were not apologetic at all about this.
If you want a quiet, roomy place to stay then this it however do not expect much customer service and do not be shocked by the rudeness.
