The staff at the hotel was among the very best I've encountered in many years of travel. Thed only comparable experience was a five star property in Rome.

Great hotel, very close to most things you may want. But 4 $1,000 a night you did not really get a Luxury Experience. There was a welcome card on the desk next to a bottle of wine and a bottle of water "with our compliments" thanking us for our stay. We were charged $40 for the wine...We had a corner room which was very nice. They offered free Beach Bikes...The Bistro next door was just ok,not sure if they own it, but you enter throughbthe lobby. Italian Restaurant next door is great, be sure to make reservations as it is very popular.

The Best Hotel in Vancouver

The Loden Hotel delivered the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in Vancouver.
From check-in to departure, every staff member was genuinely enthusiastic, friendly, and clearly proud to work there. What really stood out was the attention to detail — they remembered my dogs’ names, which instantly made the stay feel personal and special.
The room was stunning: luxurious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling overly formal. It struck the perfect balance between high-end and welcoming.
This is hospitality done right. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel that actually feels human, the Loden is it. I’ll absolutely be back and recommend it without hesitation.

Genuinely exceptional! Easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, from the facilities, location and to the staff. But what made the experience most special were the amazing Loden staff members, who were very attentive and kind! Thank you, Irina and team, for a memorable experience! We will be sure to come back to the Loden whenever we are back in Vancouver!
